In strike witches, the magical girls are all based off of real world fighter aces (i.e. Charlotte Yeager, Erica Hartman, etc.)
except 90% of the show is them pulling eachothers underwear off/zoomin in on their panties/fanservice/pedophillia which is why I got mad at the show and it rustled my wwii jimmies

last thing I want to imagine is irl Ericke Hartmen in bed with irl Chick Yeagre and every 30 seconds they both do suggestive poses in their boxers
last thing I want to imagine is irl Ericke Hartmen in bed with irl Chick Yeagre and every 30 seconds they both do suggestive poses in their boxers
THANK YOU everything wrong with japan described in the above post
This surprises you with something coming out of Japan?
not just that but if they're gonna do something WWII, do it right I don't want fanservicy shit like if they made fanservicy band of brothers anime where everyone was a little girl and none of the violent/emotional/srs shit that they went through was portrayed, I'd be mad
But, isn't that Japan in a nutshell?
no not really Jin-Roh, Zipang, First Squad, FMA don't do the WWII genre too bad either
Went to see the changing of the guard! The Taiwanese Army guards' M1 Garands are chrome with black finish on the furniture, they look pretty neat. These are all working weapons, not fiberglass replicas.
According to my Dad, who did mandatory service around the mid-late 70s, if my translation is right he used the M14 before, the M16, and I think one other gun. Too bad he couldn't keep any of his equipment he had to return all of it back when he was finished. He handled communications or something electrical, he hated it. My cousin on the other hand who is now in his mid 30s who did service said it was a lot of fun, once he and his platoon had more half a box of ammunition left so they spent an afternoon firing the entire box.

He went from the M14, to the T65. He was a tank commander on M60s and he also had tons of fun lolol.
Too bad my dad didn't fly fighters too, our dads could have been friends.
my dad was given the test for the pilot program thingy thing in the airforce or whatever he could have been PIL0T but he was unprepared because apparently he was given the test and was not informed beforehand or anything
