WIP. Feedback so far?
The purple seekbar and volume slider is based on colors from the album art.

It's looking great in my opinion. Keep working. Once you've gotten the most of the work done, then look at it and see if you need to tweak it or not. Keep going! Good work!
Also, instead of moving the album art to the right, try making it a little smaller, then center it in place. If you had a border around it (space) instead of it bleeding to the left, it would look a lot better when finalized.

can you make me a winamp skin and the purple is light blue? thanks
I made a poster for an indie film for free

So much last minute bs, never again
Oh man that is not the best
I can't say that I strongly disagree. The guy REALLY wanted the two main characters who barely have a conflict to be exactly like that on the poster and there was no talking him out of it despite some concepts I had, and his brother who did half the film is my roommate so it was overall a very uncomfortable situation with him pestering me about it.
Doesn't excuse bad work just saying I wasn't all in it which is a bad thing.

If I ever get the time. I've been gone, with no access to PC or phone since last time I posted.
If anyone want to base a skin on this WIP design, then go ahead and do it. :)
Had to design some business cards really quickly for computer class and I thought it was a bullshit assignment but I kind of like how they came out. Can I improve them?

Make your phone number more noticeable, place it with the other contact information at the bottom there. Excellent design though.
I didn't know where to place it. I put it in the middle bellow "illustrator - painter" but it all looked too centered then. I tried putting it on the bottom but then it ruined the composition of the three buttons. I think the side worked the best. Maybe I'll make it bigger.
I'd recommend just enlargening the phone number, something like 150-200% larger, and placing the social icons further up, they are uncomfortably close to the edge.
i'm not a graphic designer at all but i made this at like 5am as a front page for an essay

is that guy next to the chair just doing the carlton dance as the others lay dead on the floor? :v:
ahahahaah omg
he's actually slumped on a chair in the original photo but it's so contrasted it was really hard to draw out any of the shapes properly so i was like "fuk this"

im not that great in the graphic design game, i'm trying to better my self though, does anyone have some constructive crit?
Text moderately inconvenient to read.
Took A LOT of inspiration from kirederf7's design on page 11, opinions?

why is "ROONKA" on a different angle? It bothers me to no end.
why is "ROONKA" on a different angle? It bothers me to no end.
Yeah, I'm changing it so it's still on a slight angle for effect but it's barely noticeable.

Revision based on feedback from clients as well as this forum.

the rural feel of the word-art looking roonka really doesn't match with the futuristic triangle and the thin font inside of the triangle imo

Better?
Whereas this is about giving off space and future vibes, your's appears to be some sort of countryish setting. It also uses fonts that remind me instantly of Las Vegas, and it has a city background.
I was going for more of a retro 70's / postcard feel if anything, what would you suggest? So far the clients are extremely happy with it but I'd still like to experiment myself.
I've been looking at it for fifteen minutes and I'm not sure how I feel.

It's based off a roll of film.
Too minimalist? Too flat?

I don't know man.. I looked at it for a while, perhaps experiment with another font? The 'g' looks good though.

You're telling me this and even then I still have a hard time seeing the logo as a roll of film, it's too obscure. You need to make the visual cue a little more obvious.

Get rid of those black outlines on the images.

It looks 5000x better without them.
On a side note I can't help but think of this when I see your Clayton logo:

Someone has said that to me before :v:
I think adding a semitransparent outline to the images works better, clearly defines the boundaries of the image while it isn't too noticeable like the black outlines were

There is no greater sin in graphic design than borders around rectangles.
It's also a great way to spot complete amateurs, frankly speaking. They all share that in common for some reason.
Yes, those old days when I would put a stroke around everything, ouch ouch ouch.
