Right ear is blocked, need more suggestions to unblock it. - General

I had both my ears get incredibly clogged before. The best option is to just go to the doctor. They squirt it all out in 10-15 minutes and it feels great. If you do it at home then get one of these- [img]http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/21xwXbzWBIL._SL500_AA300_.jpg[/img] and a cup of lukewarm water. Squirt it in until you feel better. Apparently hot water makes you pass out.

Yes, I had this happen to me, it lasted for about 2 days. First I took a bath first and made sure to keep my ears in the water to soften it up, [b]didn't help[/b]. Tried spraying warm water in the ears, I certainly felt it moving about and a lot of yellow water came out, still [b]didn't help[/b]. Then I had the great idea of using a qtip which just blocked my other ear as well. Olive oil didn't do anything either. A friend of mine suggested this product called Revaxör (wherever you live you probably won't find a product called that though) that's made for removing earwax. I didn't have any but he had so he came over and we started the treatment. About 20 drops of this stuff into one of the ears and then I had to lie down for an hour for it to start dissolving the wax. Then I sprayed with water and it went away. Had more issues with my other ear, needed two rounds of it and the stuff that came out was really grainy and nasty. In short, [b][u]You can't really be lazy about this[/b][/u].

i get ear infections almost every month and they give me hydrogen peroxide, tell me to put 3-5 drops in my ear and wait about 5 minutes then let it drain out, works like a charm after 2 or 3 tries

Happened to me twice last year Flood your ear with ear drops while laying on your side so it doesnt spill out, let sit for 20 min, drain it, chill for a while, repeat. Dont QTIP it, the drops still work even when your ears not flooded. Hydrogen Peroxide will work in place of ear drops, and possibly even better.

What the hell, just go to the doctors. You don't even have to meet a doctor, a nurse can usually do it. I've had problems with earwax before, and it literally takes a few minutes to have it cleaned out. It also feels great afterwards. If you don't want to be deaf, stop being a lazy idiot and go to the darn doctor. Those other things you listed will damage your hearing.

When this happens to me I just deal with it for the 4 days or so it takes to clear on its own.

Hydrogen peroxide, not the 100% kind though. Just use 3-5%.
