I didn't use smart anything, and in mine, she isn't super bright (now it's more like...a well lit room.).

I think I read somewhere that on model retouching they reduce the width of the whole photograph by 10% so the model looks taller and skinnier.

Honestly, she looks fairly decent without the images being retouched. She looks human, rather than looking like a damned mannequin.

The goal of retouching [B]should[/B] be to enhance the way some one looks, as opposed to changing the way they look. I try to leave some blemishes and defects if I ever do retouching for people, simply because that's the way it is.
