i once walked into my bro's room, and among his piles of classic literature books strewn everywhere, i picked up a book called "the sacred book of the warewolf" considering the nature of his novels, without doubt it was probably something about the moral crisis surrounding the state of the world and how it balances on knifepoint with M.A.D i was surprised to hear that it was actually about a 300 year old french whore with a fox tail, with the first page i turn to describing post-coital tail positions...
The story of Earl Tuner, a member of a rag-tag resistance movement of freedom-loving racists that takes over America and kills off all the minorities and race-traitors. Tim McVeigh gives it 5 out of 5 stars.
If anyone doesent know Turner Diaries is american version of mein kampf, it isnt banned because of freedom of speech, but american nazis use the book as their bible.
Banned by many countries. Interesting read though.
It's actually a really good book.
It's actually a really good book.
I agree, totally worth stealing.
I can't tell what the fuck is happening in this book.
best thing about the satanic bible is that it's three words away from being Atlas Shrugged true story
You might think that based on a vague understanding of both of those works ( I think if you just read TSB and was aware of Atlas Shrugged you could think them pretty similar, though not if you read Atlas and were aware of TSB) but if you actually understand the philosophies put fourth in those books, you would see that they are quite different and indeed, opposed.
This garbage. Complete waste of time.
This garbage. Complete waste of time.
You try writing 50 books a week. R.L Stine is my hero.

I dunno about you guys but I found some of the Darren Shan stuff freaky. Not the ones about the kid that's a vampire but The Demonata series. I mean look at the some of covers. These books are for 12 year olds.
These books are for 12 year olds.
12 year olds like that kind of shit, when my younger brother was that age he read like all ten of those books in a week. I think the books are catered to the gross out humor and short attention span of a 12 year old, every single one of the books begins like this (if you have access to them flip through the first page of each one and you'll see I'm not lying) "The GIGANTIC blood covered demon with the head of a lizard and body of a zombie gorilla ripped out his eyes, blood sprayed everywhere and he screamed in agony, the demon then bit off his face and chewed his dismembered nose into a pulp and spit it back at him" Just swap out the kind of animal the demon is a combination of, and the body part being mutilated and thats how they all start.
Marquis de Sade, a compilation. I tell you: most of the stuff posted here is nothing against it.
Practical LSD manufacture by Uncle Fester.
I've read it like 3 times, I still have no idea what the fuck it's about. On the plus side though it has a maniacle, profranity laden talking Commie Chimp [editline]4th July 2011[/editline]
Marquis de Sade, a compilation.
I can't tell what the fuck is happening in this book.
I remember reading that book, but I've mostly forgotten what it's about. I DO remember that it was good, though. This is a pretty good book, in my opinion. Basically about a high school girl and her friends narrated by herself in the future and from jail.
Gives a great perspective of the Vietnam war from a marine lieutenants view. Was refused for publishing twice took him 30 years to write it. It gave a no holds barred view of the war including racism, the political side of the war, and every detail of combat including friendly-fire incidents. Was hard to read for me at points.
I love the Vietnam war, you've convinced me to buy this, thanks.
Marquis de Sade, a compilation. I tell you: most of the stuff posted here is nothing against it.
I'unno, Deuteronomy is a real scary and messed up read. (It doesn't help that a great deal of people take its word as truth.)

1984. Whilst not a taboo, and obviously one of the most well known 20th century pieces of literature, has one of the most harrowing endings that I can think of. (It doesn't help that a great deal of people take its word as truth.)
Oh c'mon, not a great deal of people take its word as truth, in fact barely any people I know, Christian, Jewish or not, have even read it
You try writing 50 books a week. R.L Stine is my hero.
No fool, the damn "Create your own adventure" books are garbage and a waste of time. I loved all goosebumps and fear street books.
I just got finished with this wonderful fictional work: It's good, but WOW does it have some weird stuff in it.
This book is kind of strange, and was unorthodox too when it was released.

Why are so many people posting some of the most popular novels ever written if this thread is dedicated to the obscure and bizarre titles? This isn't the thread for "1984", "A brave new world", "A clockwork orange", "Fahrenheit 451" or anything of the sort.
