Its hilarious to think that in the Jurassic period these things were like, apex predators.
Its hilarious to think that in the Jurassic period these things were like, apex predators.
back in their heyday they would RKO the shit out of their prey.
Well gotta admit something, they look pretty happy and that's pretty good. Beats living in a cage for a short life for sure. [editline]17th February 2016[/editline]
Same. Chicken shit is really, really rich in various acidic compounds that would over-fertilize pretty bad
Considering they are free-range, they are likely fed off better food sources that can knock down the acid levels, I know the few my aunt raises don't kill off grass as bad as the bunch at the farm down from her and they are raising only about 5~8, same as her. Difference is theirs are caged and force-fed while she free ranges hers.
Not to sound morbid, but I wonder how many are picked off by hawks or other raptors

I think about all the chicken wings I have had in my lifetime and then I look at this and think huh, looks like a lot more food when you put a body to a wing.
Awwww, they all look so tasty!
