Where in the evolutionary chain of events does making blind army ants seem like a good idea?
There's a number of possible reasons. For one it's probably more economic for it not to develop eyes. With the loss of material an ant can grow to maturity in a shorter time, increasing the population and maximum output of the nest. Ants swarm and kill shit, much like they used to, but with 105% of their original population they can do it slightly better.
God, it's like they were badly programmed.
What if they started going upwards, forming an ant tornado.
So that explains the huge mass of ant corpses under some of my boxes. I've found 3 of these ant cemeteries around my house. Their bodies fall apart when they die somehow.
if you look close enough, you can see jesus
At least this sounds more realistic than a microscopic black-hole which escaped from CERN and now attracts ants all around the world.
"Are we there yet?"
Poor ants :frown:
