Also 2 Stupid Dogs. Ain't that cute...
Oh god. All of these shows, all the nostalgia. I tried to watch CN the other day. I really, really tried. About 3-4 minutes in I saw a live-action show with a bunch of asshole teenagers who make the rest of us look like dipshits. I miss the days of Cartoon Network actually showing Cartoons. I always hated Nickelodean and whatever bullshit Disney was trying to sell. Cartoon Network? It was always awesome. Then it started to go downhill. slowly replacing all of the classics with unfunny shit that's exactly like everything else. Then they started in with Live action shows. (I seem to remember one with like, a kid who imagined cartoons or something) and live action movies. Then they completely fucked it up by messing with Toonami. Toonami was the shit, but it started getting cut down one 30 min slot at a time until it was like, a movie and an episode of Naruto (which was right around the time it started to suck) and just cancelled it altogether. That was it for me. [AS] all the way.
Holy shit i love you.

Chowder is kind of "meh", and I can't think of any other good shows except for MAD and Regular Show, and those aren't even out yet. Edit: Yay 500 post.
I honestly don't know what any of those are. I stopped watching right after Toonami's cancellation. [editline]10:03PM[/editline] Actually, I have seen chowder. It's completely bullshit. Not funny at all. It's like all the shows on Nickelodean were. It's a spongebob clone. Spongebob sucked anyways.

It's defiantly better then the bull known as spongebob past the year 2004.

So, when do these streams take place? And where is the link?
Yeah. I'd like some linkage too.
Oh God, I remember this. I always remember how I loved :33 to :36, it always felt good to me. I REALLY wish I knew how to make gifs, because I'd make one out of that...
Like half of those shows aren't nostalgic at all.
That's a pretty ignorant thing to say. To me some of these shows don't even ring a bell, but that doesn't mean it's not nostalgic for someone else.
Holy shit. I loved the city-scape ad. Cartoon Network was fucking awesome.
omg omg 'Whatever happened to Robot Jones' I REMEMBER THAT. :haw:
I think there was a thread meant for this sort of question, but I'm trying to remember the name of this one show. It was about a family of flies and the main character was a girl, I think it was on Cartoon Network, could have been Nickelodeon, but since I think it was Cartoon Network it should be relevant. Anyone remember the name? [editline]05:27PM[/editline] Also that's a pretty vague and shitty description but I can't remember what would usually happen in the show.
I'll also say that The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy is -to this day- one of my favorite shows of all time. It's not so much me not accepting Cartoon Network's changes... It's HOW they changed. How they got rid of everything we loved, replacing it all with generic bullshit. When I have spawns of my own, I'll be sure that they see quality cartoons from when I was a kid. As for that City-scape ad, I remember seeing that and thinking it was like, the coolest thing ever. Being new to CG as a concept. [editline]10:29PM[/editline] And it was pretty well done, too.
Stop typing out your posts like this.
Like what? I don't see what I'm doing wrong here.
Who the fuck cares how he types it, that isn't what the thread's about.
No wonder I loved Hamtaro. Case Closed is the one and only anime that I frequently watch. Didn't know they were by the same creator. Also they were cute.
Who else remembers rushing home after school and switching on the tv real quick to start watching toonami? Also to the guy that mentioned hamtaro, I added it because my brother and I would always watch that show when we got home. I remember hamtaro sliding down the gutter and hopping across the eogs head. It makes me happy. :downs: [editline]08:13PM[/editline] Who else remembers rushing home after school and switching on the tv real quick to start watching toonami? [editline]08:15PM[/editline] Jeez... that was horrible.
YES. Toonami made my childhood. It was the one thing that made my week worth fighting through. And the edit button is fucked.
Camp Lazlo was p. good. [editline]09:09PM[/editline] Also, I always changed it to Nickelodeon when Toonami came on. Anime never appealed to me.

Hamtaro was bitchin' though.
Courage the Cowardly dog was awesome.
Oh god, the OP made me nostalgia all over my laptop. This is going to take weeks to clean up! At first, a few of those such as Megas XLR and Sheep In Big City didn't look familiar, then I remembered and nostalgia'd so hard.
Stop making me sadder now that it's shit..... :sigh:
I don't even look at "cartoon network" anymore. I am disappointed in it. VERY. DISAPPOINTED.

I loved Cartoon Network. I hope they release some of the shows to DVD. Would be great to watch them again. I only have Samurai Jack on DVD. I could probably set up a day for streaming all of those. [editline]10:57AM[/editline] You're also missing the best block of them all.
