Thanks for derailing the thread guys! <3
Thanks for derailing the thread guys! <3
This thread filled with assholes pretty quickly.
You know people have the ability to choose what they wanna do in life.
But are they trying to kill themselves?
Sir Whoopsalot, you're fucking heartless. Always have to be so "intelligent" and make your witty little comments on everything. Arguing with people online when you'd never say shit about it to anyone in person. Would you laugh in the face of his relatives? Because if your answer is no, then you have no business saying anything at all. "Your posting is just hilarious, hur hurrr." You're an idiot. He knew the dangers, I don't doubt that. But regardless there is NOTHING funny about this. At all. He fucking died. Have some compassion. Go ahead and ban me FP, if you want. I don't care because there is no reason for his comments.

See, I'm not the kind of guy who conforms his opinion to the masses. If I don't care, I don't care. So he got killed when doing dangerous shit, boo fucking hoo.
Would you laugh in the face of his relatives? Because if your answer is no, then you have no business saying anything at all.
Please, I'm not that heartless. You'd have to be real bad to laugh at his parents for that.
"Your posting is just hilarious, hur hurrr." You're an idiot.
Dear god, what marvelous debating skills.
He knew the dangers, I don't doubt that. But regardless there is NOTHING funny about this. At all. He fucking died. Have some compassion.
Just for the record, I didn't laugh. I said that I can, but in this case I didn't. And no, I won't have compassion for showoffs who killed themselves.
Go ahead and ban me FP, if you want. I don't care because there is no reason for his comments.
Any particular reason you're targeting me rather than the guy who bluntly stated he laughed at this?

He had no intentions of killing himself. Your immaturity is so obvious right now. You can't even grasp reality and realize that death isn't something you just look at and shrug off. And no, you can't talk to someone about this in the real world. You don't have balls kid.
I'm not debating with you and never claimed to have skills in it. And I chose you because you're being much more immature and obnoxious.
Shit sucks. They know how much they're risking doing this kind of stuff.
You have to expect this to happen sometimes. Stupid stunts like this can't ALWAYS go flawless.
I'm a fan of wing suit flight, but to fly this close is just dumb and while I won't say he deserved it or anything like that, I'm really not surprised it happened.

Your a coward behind a keyboard using internet anonymity as a vent because in reality, when you act the same way, you get your ass beat. Please tell me I struck a nerve. :) Get out of this thread and never return. Any response(s) back to me (or any other member) in this thread merits you an idiot.
You wish you could be as successful as that Man was.
"you wish you could be succes blurblurblur" yeah, yeah, fuck off, don't pull cliche shit like that. Justin Bieber is successful but that doesn't mean I can't criticize him or laugh at him. I'm perfectly content with my life as it is, thank you very much.
Your a coward behind a keyboard using internet anonymity as a vent because in reality, when you act the same way, you get your ass beat.
Gee, assuming shit, how innovative. And if I do 'get my ass beat' in real life, so fucking be it. I refuse to alter my opinion because other people will call me heartless.
Please tell me I struck a nerve. :)
Sorry, failed at that.
Get out of this thread and never return. Any response(s) back to me (or any other member) in this thread merits you an idiot.
I think I'll stay around here for a while. The drama coming from you guys is side-splitting.
Showoffs? The guy was probably doing something he liked to do. He had no intentions of killing himself.
Doing something you like to do doesn't mean you have to showoff. "ooh, look at me, I'm gonna fly real close to this bridge at ludicrous speeds!" He was almost asking for it.
Your immaturity is so obvious right now.
Why, because I don't give 2 shits about somebody who got himself killed doing something incredibly stupid?
You can't even grasp reality and realize that death isn't something you just look at and shrug off.
Too bad I can do that in this case.
And no, you can't talk to someone about this in the real world. You don't have balls kid.
Like I said, I can and I will. Somebody who's acting all high and mighty by calling me a kid won't deter me from doing that.
Oh and the reactions of people on the bridge and the fact the people doing these stupid things know the risks.
Said by someone who probably doesn't play sports/go outside a lot. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
I don't care. So he got killed when doing dangerous shit, boo fucking hoo.
Wow really you're probably some kid that's never tried anything mildly risky in his entire life.
Wow really you're probably some kid that's never tried anything mildly risky in his entire life.
At least I have the common sense not to go play chicken with a bridge at high speeds.
It's called an extreme sport for a reason. This man died doing what he loved.
Said by someone who probably doesn't play sports/go outside a lot.
Yeah I guess thats why I race motorbikes. Totally not a risky thing to do.
Yeah I guess thats why I race motorbikes. Totally not a risky thing to do.
I suppose if you, or in fact anyone who does anything extreme dies, we shouldn't mourn their loss, aye?
It's called an extreme sport for a reason. This man died doing what he loved.
Bit of a poor excuse. Juggling revving chainsaws might be what you love but you're not exactly gonna sound more heroic when you die doing it.
I suppose if you, or in fact anyone who does anything extreme dies, we shouldn't mourn their loss, aye?
No you shouldnt. I know the risks full well and accept the fact that if I do something wrong and die it is 100% my fault from doing something so dangerous.
Nobody's asking for him to be hailed as a hero. Simply that you have compassion for people that die setting new frontiers. The human race is founded on exploring new frontiers, often times very dangerously. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
No you shouldnt. I know the risks full well and accept the fact that if I do something wrong and die it is 100% my fault from doing something so dangerous.
Yeah I guess you're right, if you die your family should disown you out of shame that they raised a son so stupid as to try such a dangerous thing.
It's called an extreme sport for a reason. This man died doing what he loved.
So if I died playing Russian Roulette, which in some areas is considered an "Extreme Sport", It'd be ok when my brains are sprayed across the wall, but only because I loved it? Having people think you have a big dick because you do shit like this wont do you any good when it's in about 12 different pieces across 200 feet.
Nobody's asking for him to be hailed as a hero. Simply that you have compassion for people that die setting new frontiers. The human race is founded on exploring new frontiers, often times very dangerously.
Okay, 'heroic' may have been the wrong word. What I'm saying is that dying while doing what you loved isn't a good excuse, simply put. And forgive me, but I fail to see how skydiving close to the ground at incredibly high speeds and playing chicken with large blunt structures is setting new frontiers.
Name one place where russian roulette is considered a sport.
Yeah I guess you're right, if you die your family should disown you out of shame that they raised a son so stupid as to try such a dangerous thing.
Go for it, not like Ill give a shit being dead and all.
Name one place where russian roulette is considered a sport.
Vietnam  to anyone who gets the reference.
Name one place where russian roulette is considered a sport.
It doesn't even have to be a sport, dying while doing it just makes you look stupid.
Vietnam  to anyone who gets the reference.
The Deer Hunter, right?
Okay, 'heroic' may have been the wrong word. What I'm saying is that dying while doing what you loved isn't a good excuse, simply put. And I think you have a flawed definition of the game 'chicken', the plan was for him to go close to the bridge to amaze the crowd.
Go for it, not like Ill give a shit being dead and all. Vietnam  to anyone who gets the reference.
I'm almost aching to think of FMJ or Apocalypse Now, but I'd feel dumb if I got it wrong. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
New frontiers in human flight. And I think you have a flawed definition of the game 'chicken', the plan was for him to go close to the bridge to amaze the crowd.
So I could be a badass, just by rubbing my face against a concrete bridge at 100 mph? Our race is so advanced!
It doesn't even have to be a sport, dying while doing it just makes you look stupid.
Russian roulette is a silly example, someone is guaranteed to die playing it.
I'm almost aching to think of FMJ or Apocalypse Now, but I'd feel dumb if I got it wrong.
There you go
New frontiers in human flight. And I think you have a flawed definition of the game 'chicken', the plan was for him to go close to the bridge to amaze the crowd.
Games of chicken involve seeing how close you get before backing out, right? But fair enough, it's the only term I could think of for putting it. Oh, and when your preferred choice of flight has a high change of splattering you to bits, I wouldn't exactly call it a 'new frontier in flight'. [editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
Russian roulette is a silly example, someone is guaranteed to die playing it.
As is with this sport, as is evident by the video.
