[b]The lower shield ship remains stubborn to hit something, and does, above it the drones start their attack run on the bigger ship while yet again, above them the carrier goes wild and completely rams the enemy, taking a hit to it's belly and obliterating one of the pods.
As it's completely unarmed, all the power is directed at the engines, life support and mainly the shields which allows it to withstand pretty heavy attacks, though, the carriers aren't designed to ram enemy ships while being shot at, allowing the projectile to penetrate the shield.
A bit away, the transport finally does what it spent it's time charging up for...
It completely vanishes in a cloud of black smudge and is now halfway across the galaxy, with a organic mess where the controller once was, but it's computer is filled enough with data to alert the main fleet of this new alien invasion of their once home.[/b]
Holy fuck those are some sexy mountains.
That is a god damn amazing looking landscape.
Also Yusk are you building fucking tanks on your space station? Because those look like tanks.

[b]The Destroyer scrapes along the Carrier Ship, even with its engines off the momentum carries it doing significant damage to it and the Carrier Ship. Several Escape Pods are launched because the fate of the ship look very decided. The Assault pods latch onto the enemy craft, and assault teams get to work onboard, placing explosives wherever deemed necessary. The missle arcs over the carnage, coming back down to meet the rear of the ship. The shot that would have originally hit the enemy transport ship, goes into the atmosphere, about to hit the enemy base. The Destroyer arcs back up out of the atmosphere, firing two Gauss Cannons at the Carrier Ship's engines. The Light Cruiser's shields absorb most of the shots by the drones, any shots that get through doing little damage to the ship. However, the enemy debris beneath does significant damage to the hanger.[/b]

[b]The carrier ships receives too much damage to continue functioning and the controller snaps itself out of the "captains chair", spraying a thick dark liquid of his blood all over the bridge walls and floors, but it continues to almost slither it's way through the corridors.
As if asked for, the generators overload and melt down, causing all lights to go off - leaving the boarding crews alone in the dark as the controller starts picking them off one by one while slowly bleeding to death itself.
As the carrier shuts off, the drones do too, unable to steer, they slam into the shields of ths very ship they where shooing at. The rouge shielder engine finally shuts off, but continue it's current path and scrapes all over the hull.

Meanwhile, an untold distance away, the escaped transport arrives at the main fleet with the recordings of the invasion, which springs angry telepathic discussions between ships before something announcing itself as the "Overlord" silences everyone.
The fleet stops at his whim and turns it's attention to their old home once more.[/b]
