Yeah I was thinking it was my Rotator Cuff too. We seem to have the same problem. I don't remember injuring it though.
Same thing, I fucked it up doing a bench press that was too heavy.
Made this thread earlier: http://www.facepunch.com/threads/1065431-Popping-Clicking-from-Left-Shoulder Same thing as you guys?
Sadly, yes.
I'm not sure I'm familiar with this, however, I'm not the biggest fan of counting calories. If you're trying to lose weight then eat foods that are lower in calories and fat like: raw vegies, fruits, and white meats. Stay away from sodas, fried foods, and (most) red meats and you should see a lot of progress if you stick with it.
Its not that I want to count calories or anything, its just that the site was really well done and I wanted to show some friends. It also let you log down every exercise you were doing like your own personal weight log book.

Fuuaark i do 2 of those :-(
hey guys guess what i have the same rotator cuff problem in my left shoulder :respek:
Is it better to do a longer, exhausting workout that covers a lot of things every other day, or to workout specific things each day/other day?
The latter, really. Say if you work three muscle groups in one session, you are going to be too tired when you get to the last to do a proper job.
~what did i miss~
now only if we could see your lower back, that would be a sick pic
almost a month old picture, but it'll do:

Brb doing nothing, still sick with a lung racking cough.
Flies kick ass. Would recommend. I've got tri's and abs today. GET PUMPED. [editline]3rd March 2011[/editline]
Brb doing nothing, still sick with a lung racking cough.
Get well soon, buddy.
They are magical.
indeed now whoever says bench press > dumbbell flies in terms of mass building deserves boxes
http://www.t-nation.com/free_online_article/most_recent/five_exercises_you_should_stop_doing_forever
Thankfully, I don't do any of those. The closest one I do to any of them is dumbbell upright rows, which I'm not entirely sure if it's saying that's bad too or not. [editline]3rd March 2011[/editline]
indeed now whoever says bench press > dumbbell flies in terms of mass building deserves boxes
Well bench does gain more mass overall. It's a critical mass exercise. That doesn't discredit flies, though.
The best flies you can do is to start in the normal position with the dumbbells above you and bars parallel to the floor, as you lower the dumbbels keep your arms slightly bent and twist your arms so the dumbbell is upright (90 degrees from the floor), hold for half a second then slowly raise. You can really feel the burn as you raise the weight from the lowest point and twist the dumbbell back to the original position. It's important to maintain that slight bend in your arm throughout and to not let your elbows drop, when returning you should really squeeze your chest. I see a lot of people at the gym thinking they can rep heavy weights on the fly but their elbows are dropping and they pretty much end up doing a dumbbell press or giving their tri's a good workout instead.
I've got to try that.
Hope you get what I mean? Hard to explain. Start position is usual but end position is with dumbbells upright and slowly bring back up to start position.
It sounds like kind of the twisting hammer curls of pec flies. Right?
