Go go new thread!
I look out of place there in the OP. Must work to fix that.
Brah as long as you work hard and lift heavy you`re not out of place
Oh god that was good.
Also, new thread looks good. I´m mirin
thanks, my favourite part is the lady pictures
At least you're not doing back arms, fuark that would kill. My forearms are already dead after rows and deadlifts, I wouldn't even be able to hold a dumbbell.

free for you bb
I did that whole, Tricep-Chest piece o' crap routine in the past. Shit was fucked, so I made my own routine. Also, fuck, I still can't understand how I'm even able to do one set of db rows after Deads and Rows myself.

What`s your routine that you made?
And last back day I did wide grip pullups, wide grip lat pulldowns, tbar rows, dumbbell rows, then finished off with deadlifts. Brb overtraining, could barely even do deadlifts.
back from raping my chest
feels good man
But I thought that we all agreed that Monday was BB thread´s chest day.
I feel cheated on... :(

Ha, you went for hypertrophy then? Doing a main lift like that last isn't strength productive. Unless you're a god.
Also, routine goes like this:
Chest day - Bench (Powerlifting style), DB Bench and pushups. I use a custom 5/3/1 mixup of my own. I basically Aim for 8 reps for 2 sets, and up the weight by two microplates (1kg) by the third set and aim for 5 reps. I was inspired by the 5/3/1 scheme, so I made a custom one of my own using rules and basic mechanics of what works for me and understanding what each rep does to me.
Back (yadada) - Deadlift, Bent over rows, db rows. I consider db rows as an assistance, just like the 5/3/1 programs, so I up the weight, for the whole 3 sets I try and do, by 1kg on each side. Micro progression.
Shoulders - Db shoulder press (Military feels like I'm breaking in half. I felt like a mad man everytime I did 'em), Rear delt shit and try and complete a whole 3 sets of a Shoulder-3-Way. I feel like crying everytime I do those.
Legs and arms - Squats, chin ups + weighted chin ups with a dip belt. Try and push some heavy Skull crushers (my elbows are fragile as fuck) and maybe, just maybe, some bicep excercises. Couldn't give a fuck about arms, hate that.
Basically, program fits my needs. I go in and go out. I do the main lift, and I don't care about the rest. If I have the will and power in that specific day, I'll do the rest. Most of the time I do, but you know, army gets me sometimes. I feel like shit sometimes.
Also, I take two days off after two days of working out. I workout 3 times a week, so it's 4(rest)to3(workout) ratio. Found out that actually resting two days, considering the amount of sleep I get and a lot of other factors, works excellent in terms of recovery and avoid overtraining.

Yeah I`m focusing more on hypertrophy than anything right now, I used to focus more on stregth but now I'm cutting and I want as much muscle as possible. I also got my deadlifts to a respectable weight (for me) since I can do over 300 pounds for reps (probably not that much for a lot of people) so I'm probably just going to do high reps with that for a bit. I used to have deadlifts first for the longest time.
Are you going just for strength?
sorry I had to reconstruct my split
this post is accurate
why did you have to reconstruct it? weren't you doing a 2 day split before but now you made it 3 day?
lol what I've never done a 2 or 3 day split
It's a custom made 5-6 day split. (5 if I can't be arsed to do abs lol)
just had to move some shit around to avoid overtraining and create an ideal rest day.

As of right now, I am. While I still care for hypertrophy, and want to achieve both at the same time, I care for going up as fast as I can. Army is fucking my plans, if I were home and more stationary things could have been different.
Must post on first page

oh okay makes sense
the joys of working out at home
promax chocolate protein powder tastes like some kind of drink that isn't tasty at all, not even a little bit
promax chocolate protein powder tastes like some kind of drink that isn't tasty at all, not even a little bit
Yeah some protein powders just suck in the taste department, have you tried it with milk? Try making a milkshake in the blender with it, add some milk, and bananas/peanut butter or something like that, it might be a bit better
Anyone else have asymmetricality in spots throughout their body? My right arm is noticeably bigger than my left arm yet I lift the exact same with each in dumbbell exercises.
how much have your lifts been going up?
Pretty good. Considering I overtrained and was ill, it's all good. Also, I workout at home. I had enough of the gym experience. I'm pretty veteran.
lol my arms have gone all weird lately
I'm right handed, my right arm is bigger but way weaker than my left arm.
And my left arm is 1cm smaller than my right arm and before I started srsly working out, it was way weaker too.
what the fuck
Anyone else have asymmetricality in spots throughout their body? My right arm is noticeably bigger than my left arm yet I lift the exact same with each in dumbbell exercises.
I'm asymmetrical man. Everything is un-even with me.

i would but it says on the back something about if you have it with milk the protein is released gradually, as opposed to... quickly like with water? i didn't really understand it so i just went for water
also, this is probs the most protein i have ever had ever considering i have never eaten meat in my entire life (seriously)
Anyone else have asymmetricality in spots throughout their body? My right arm is noticeably bigger than my left arm yet I lift the exact same with each in dumbbell exercises.
YES. my left arm used to be like .75 of an inch smaller than my right, now it`s only 0.25 smaller, but for some reason I always thought it looked at like twice as small.

That has some truth to it, milk is made of slow digesting protein whereas whey isolate is fast digesting but it really doesn`t matter too much if you mix them.
You don`t eat meat? Vegetarian?
yep, my whole life
i guess i could be your no-meat body building guineapig hehehe

bench is 250, squat is 290, deadlift goes up accordingly and shoulders as of db shoulder press, is about 85 lbs dumbbells.

lol i hope when you were talking about being a veteran you werent referencing your lifts. how long have you been lifting
lol i hope when you were talking about being a veteran you werent referencing your lifts. how long have you been lifting
Veteran was a regard to the amount I've been to a gym. I started at 16, now I'm 20. Wasn't seriously into it, until 18. so you might call it two years of actually training.

still fairly low lifts for that time frame but atleast you stuck to it so good job
still fairly low lifts for that time frame but atleast you stuck to it so good job
I wouldn't call it slowly what so ever, considering the amount of time I had and limited equipment. Though I rather not use those as excuses, you're still right.

actually there are quite a bit of vegetarian bodybuilders and they have pretty good results, I saw some pictures a while ago from India I think and they were pretty huge
just eat lots of beans lol

Your guess is far off then. Never did the Bench-curl faggotry. Also, that's my 1rm guess, I might be off.
