you have an awful lot of hair on your lower back.
I... am not sure what to think about that pic. An odd ass. Pic makes your buttcrack look enormous and I'm not too sure about whether that's too good. at least "ya anus" isn't showing.
Am I the only one who took a look at his lats rather than jacking off to at the lower part?
Went to the gym for the first time with a bro. He maxed benching at 235. I maxed at 115. :smithicide: I literally did half of everything he did....gotta start somewhere I guess. Also, that was Friday, and I'm still really sore.
I did take a look at them and decided the fist has now transformed into an abomination. Then my eyes hit the backside and began bleeding.

I feel like going to gym or run every day. Rest days suck ballz.
I feel like going to gym or run every day. Rest days suck ballz.
sucks for you because rest days are important
I think I have now realized who can be defined as a beginner. If you're at level, where you still want to workout on Rest days as much as you started, you're still a beginner.
Does that mean I'm a pro since I don't want to work out on rest days?

SOO, hello I am new to this domain of facepunch.
A few days ago I was in the process of doing P90x's "Chest and Back" workout, and this wasn't my first time doing it. I was about 1/2 through, doing a set of military pushups when on the last push the place where my neck connects to my skull at the back of the head started up in immense pain, so I dropped to the ground. It felt like an extremely powerful migraine and after roughly 20 seconds it was gone, but I was left with a mild headache to accompany me throughout my other meaningless tasks. I stopped the workout then and there.
I am convinced it is not a posture problem, but after googling it, it seems many people encountered this problem and it seems it has something to do with a blood vessel over in the affected area, however all the descriptions are very vague and vary greatly.
When it occurred I could hear my heartbeat and feel my pulse very powerfully at the back of my neck.
The reason for my concern is that the past few days I attempted to work out again, the pain came back in an identical manner, but not just for push-ups.

Anybody know what could be wrong and how I could be rid of this?
Have you tried cracking your neck?

how fucking lazy and poor are you that you need to ask an internet forum (which even if there was a doctor here he would need to be with you in person to tell ) about this shit . god damn and stop p90x its not good enough
Have you tried cracking your neck?
WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU TELL HIM TO DO THAT WHAT IF HE FUCKING DIES BECAUSE OF YOU GOD DAMNa
Holy relax I was just wondering since it is supposedly common and occurs with weight training and etc... This is the proper forum section is it not? I'm taking a break from working out for a while like most of the sites advise. If the problem still persists three days from now I'll go check with my doctor.
And as I said, it is not a bone/w.e problem so cracking my neck would not solve anything.

Make love to me.
Yeah, I haven't experienced anything excuriatingly painful like that (except two weeks ago when I hit my elbow nerve, but that's the elbow :P). Some minor pain in the neck yeah, but that goes away by cracking my neck. I do admit that if you don't know how to do it, don't try it. Even if you do, you SHOULDN'T do it, but oh well, one's got to have one's vices.
and why are you taking a break, and why are you doing a bad routine, and why are you probably not having a good diet, AND WHY ARE YOU SO DUMB GOLLY!!!

That sounds really fucked up. You should always go see a doctor if you're having troubles with your spine/neck.
[editline]27th March 2011[/editline]
Somewhat related:
Last time I did deadlifts I suddenly started seeing little bright dots everywhere. Never tried it before. Anyone knows what it is? I have pretty low blood pressure if that matters.
That's fairly common if yer brain isn't getting enough oxygen, I get those all the time because I don't breathe enough.

Why don't you breathe enough? How come I never stopped breathing, what is this? Am I... a god?

I heard they are white blood cells in the capillaries in your retina, but I've had it happen when I get a blow to the head, or when I do deadlifts too so I'm not really sure what causes it..anyone know?

nice bro, it will be great motivation if your brother is stronger than you
you will probably work twice as hard as him just because of this

I'm a beginner but I don't see the logic behind this. I just love pushing my body to its limits. And even if my whole body is sore I still feel like doing something.

Might be wrong but your first time down the gym and benching ~50-55KG is pretty damn good, don't forget the bar is probably another 10-15KGs on top of that too. Good start if you ask me, keep focused, keep adding the weight, keep up the diet and you'll match your bro easily.
Don't compare yourself to other people in the gym, there'll always be someone bigger than you, deal with it, see it as motivation towards your goals. Don't ego lift either. I see too many people lifting way above their potential with shitty form just so they can look the big man by lifting heavier weights. Any fool can lift a heavy weight, doing it right is what counts.
exactly what sam said brah
even I had that mentality for a bit, I did not do bad form but I did high weight and really low reps for a while
but then I realized
idgaf if some kid lifts more than me (srs), if I look more aesthetic than him, who cares?
come at me 70 pound incline dumbbell press, not a single fuck was given
brb kids that are doing like 100 pounds for 1 rep, mirin aesthetics?
Exactly. 25lb dumbell lateral raise? Nigga please! My shit's on form!
Weakshoulderslol
