Are you on a cut? If you aren't then yes, you should eat them. Honestly, I think you should eat them, regardless, but I don't know shit about cutting since I never have really had to. Also something I would really recommend Chobani yogurt. That shit has so much protein and is super tasty.
Sort of on a cut. I don't have a high BF % but there's a little extra fat that I'm trying to shift before june so I've thrown a day of high intensity cardio in and dropped the carbs a little but not on a strict cutting diet. Like you, I don't really need to. Plus I've not been on a bulk so extreme cutting would be a waste of time. Just started eating dried fruit with cashews as a mid-afternoon snack and it was only as I was reading the packet I saw the high fat content and was wondering if I'd put on more fat from eating about 100g a day.
It shouldn't matter that much I don't think
Cheers man, don't have to feel guilty about an easy 20g of protein before the gym then.
Nah if you're only having 100g it's not a problem, nuts and dried fruits are awesome bulking foods, but they are also awesome cutting foods. Having small portions of them gives you protein, and pretty much covers you in terms of your daily healthy fat intake.
Trying to look as swole as possible for my senior trip coming up soon. Any way to achieve this for the 4 days i am there? Pretty sure there won't be any equipment there, but I'm willing to do just about anything before hand.
synthol
Well theres some tricks you can do to look more defined in 4 days, but as for actually more swole, no.
Well theres some tricks you can do to look more defined in 4 days, but as for actually more swole, no.
Quick blood pump. 50 reps of 5kg curls or whatever. 'The pump room' if you will. bbbers use it before a show. Same principle.
synthol
No. Jaeger: What might those be. Cutting right now, anything else i can do last minute would be great.
Cheers man, don't have to feel guilty about an easy 20g of protein before the gym then.
it depends on the macro rations and calorie content
Well water retention/manipulation stuff. Cut carbs drastically and avoid sodium for the next 4 days, then on the day down some cola and get a good pump going [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] oh wait you have more than 4 days lol [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] okay this will be easy then [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] hang on ill find a good guide
HERE WE GO AGAIN DOT FUCKING JPEG a
Eh look up contest prep shit, other than that keep cutting for now.
ill go ahead and make a post , first of all i would need to know how long you have but i dont so w/e this is general advice. youre going to want to cut carbs way to ~ 50g a day and do cardio ~3x a week ( i can expand on why if you want) youll want to carbload every weekend .also try glutamine pre workout and right before you go to bed ( not entirely convinced but looks promising )then when you get to about a week before cut out carbs entirely and do glycogen delepletion training, sodium is almost a non issue if you eat almost all protein. the effect from the week prior will only really last untill you binge/eat a moderate ammount of carbs again ( unless you dont drink water that day or something but w/e)
Not sure if right thread, but is running 1km a night enough? Or do I need to improve?
good enough for what?

Diet usually consists of Chicken salad for lunch with 2 packs of ranch dressing, then i get home and have a shake or some chicken cutlets. Then a shake before/ after my workout. Then dinner which varies. Usually chicken or another lean meat. Then maybe some cookies or something afterward cuz im a fatty. So i guess i should cut down on the salad dressing and the cookies out? Also, example of 50g carbs a day?

Also, example of 50g carbs a day?
like a large tortilla and a sandwich or something, just look at the labels of stuff and then count them up or input it into a food calorie thingy on the web. cookies out would be a good idea , salad dressing is ok depending on what its macros are and ketchup has 4g carbs per 1 tbsp . so just cut down on carbs this week and go for runs during the week, then on the week prior glycogen depletion training and either maintain 50g or lower ( ~0 ) [editline]29th March 2011[/editline] also you could like the day prior to leaving , carb load like a mother fucker along with a shit ton of creatine and look bigger in a muscular sense but it doesnt last very long ( im only saying this because i remember you being fairly lean), its a trade off tbh, would you rather look more bigger or look like you have less fat ( which plays some nifty tricks optically )
good enough for what?
what do you think? to lose weight and improve my fitness
what do you think? to lose weight and improve my fitness
yeh because running half a mile is worth anything for any sense let alone lose weight . fyi learn to have a good diet because thats where most of it lays
Indeed, 1km is nothing really. You want to check out the nutrition thread or search up some articles on google about nutrition/cutting.
(or he can google couch to 5k)
yeh because running half a mile is worth anything for any sense let alone lose weight . fyi learn to have a good diet because thats where most of it lays
thats why i asked idiot.
thats why i asked idiot. cheers mate
you didnt ask anything lmao , that would be like some other random retard here saying "is weight lifting good."
What do you think would look better? I am fairly lean ~8-9% bf.
What do you think would look better? I am fairly lean ~8-9% bf.
the amount you will LOOK bigger if you are a bit more cut is more than if you get your temporarly swole on low bodyfat plays mindfucks on your eyes, especially when you are getting to your level like 8-9
Will I look big at 8-9 :3:
Will I look big at 8-9 :3:
depends how much weight you will have to lose to get there lul
