Monday when i hit the gym i think i should do some pushups and Sidepushes (Using your left arm to push up and down sideways(YES I CAN DO THAT))
why would you think that
Monday when i hit the gym i think i should do some pushups and Sidepushes (Using your left arm to push up and down sideways(YES I CAN DO THAT))
I'm confused. Is it basically a sideways one armed push up?
The secret to good pics is to have a dumb camera that auto focuses on your sink. [img_thumb]http://i52.tinypic.com/wstz4w.jpg[/img_thumb]
damn mirin that shine brah u use chrome polish? but srs looking pre beast bro what weight are you at, and what do you think your bf% is [editline]27th February 2011[/editline]
I dislike being a student, 'cus I can't afford a gym card. Once it starts getting a bit warmer outside I'll start taking my bicycle to college (free exercise too), freeing up money from my bus card which will allow me to go to the gym hopefully. When it gets warmer too, I'll probably start jogging, I can't do that now with a layer of ice and -5 degrees Celsius. Provided I follow up on that, that is.
hmm doesn't your school/university have a gym? [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] today's work out sucked :saddowns: I somehow hurt my leg a month or so ago and ever since then squats haven't been right, today I couldn't even do proper form at all so I stopped after 1 set, feelsbadman gonna take a break from legs for a bit, hopefully it gets better here's my schedule right now: Monday-chest Tuesday-heavy arms Wednesday-rest Thursday-back Friday-light, high rep arms Saturday-shoulders, legs Might throw in some cardio in there soon Also, the reason I have two arm days is because my arms are lacking compared to the rest of my body so I took a tip from a natural bodybuilding pro and started doing them twice a week. Also, I keep hurting my legs lately so I might take a break from legs for a while which is why I put it with shoulders. Sunday
damn mirin that shine brah u use chrome polish? but srs looking pre beast bro what weight are you at, and what do you think your bf% is
I'm about 163, 6 feet tall. Still trying to add mass but I don't know what my bf% is, if I had to guess I'd say somewhere in the low teens.
I worked my arms so good yesterday. Holy shit when I was sleeping I woke up 2 or 3 times during the night feeling pain because I turned over to lay on my side. Its the most soreness I've had in my arms in a while. And I'm still feeling it right now. Also legs are sore as fuck as I ran almost 2 miles non stop(which is pretty much a record of mine) after an intense leg workout. Took a break today, however tomorrow I hope to get in a chest workout or something.

I know what you mean, it`s good and bad at the same time.
volume routines are boring and makes me cry
volume routines are boring and makes me cry
Tuesday is heavy arms day and that's when I do low reps high weight. All other bodyparts I do pyramids, start with 10-12 reps and work my way down to some heavy ass weight for 4-6 reps
iirc reverse pyramids are better
I think they may be better for endurance type shit, because if I start off with my max, I end up doing less weight with the reverse pyramids than I do with normal pyramids. It only makes sense to me but I'm not sure. So in the end I get a better workout cause I end up doing maximum amounts of rep at high weight and low weight, since the more tired I get the less reps I can do, which works with the pyramid and not against it. [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] ^probs brosciency but that's how I feel it works for me

Also, I like warming up my muscles, and pyramids do that very well for me. Whenever I start with high weights instead of warming up with low and building my way up, I just don't feel right/very good. Probably personal again though.
Dropsets?
wot?
wot?
reverse pyramids=dropsets
reverse pyramids=dropsets
oh sure yeah . tbh it just seems logically right to me but ive always done 3 warm up sets before i start lifting for real so i guess ive always done regular pyramid
I used to do Dumbbell Curl dropsets gains, gains nowhere
I used to do Dumbbell Curl dropsets gains, gains nowhere
most likely a problem with your set/rep range or diet
most likely a problem with your set/rep range or diet
no I started getting gains as soon as I started doing regular curls
volume routines are boring and makes me cry
That is your best comment so far. I feel the same way.
Are any of you guys looking into actually competing in the future? I know I am, just give me a few years and natty competitions here I come.
Are any of you guys looking into actually competing in the future? I know I am, just give me a few years and natty competitions here I come.
I'm more into strong-man.
Doing abs today. Going to do 4:35 min planks today. Shit's going to hurt.
Are any of you guys looking into actually competing in the future? I know I am, just give me a few years and natty competitions here I come.
Wish I could, but most likely I won't be anywhere near contest shape in the next while.
I did legs today Squats with schoolbag + weights = my legs are shaking
i've looked at a few guides of how to deadlift with correct form so i don't injure myself, i'd love to be able to do them but really, i'm definitely doing them wrong, my lower back cricks when i try, even with 20kg LAME

i'm gonna go try right now [editline]27th February 2011[/editline] wow that's way better :D thanks man
Square your stance, legs at shoulder width chest out one hand over, one hand under lift with your legs rather than with your back up down done
Overhand is fucked. Never use overhand, undergrip on both hands is the way to go.
