i'm not sure, i was at a party and decided it was time to show this kid (17) who was the boss after he beat me in an arm wrestle last year... i'm 19 btw anyway he beat me again WHAT with the right arm and i beat him with the left which is so weird cause i never use my left arm for anything, i'm right handed so how... how did this happen. i was very drunk as well, dunno of this is a factor to damaging limbs it's my elbows that are the problem, they don't hurt or ache until i start doing anything where i have to exert myself, then it becomes virtually impossible for me to put any strength into what i'm doing and they start to ache and become uncomfortable, it's not pain exactly. it's getting better though, hopefully i'll be lifting again soon (it's been almost two weeks and it sucks) ;_; ;_; anyway,
Try stretching your elbows before workout, maybe that'd help? EDIT: and warming them out too
Arm wrestling just pointless bragging. A really high risk of injury and it even isn't a good way to see who's the strongest. Even a small guy can easily snap a bone just by using a wrong technique. Also, when your drunk your muscles tend to overexert themselves right away and then burn out really fast. That's why you don't lift when you're drunk. YOU COULD DIE
Bah, I don't understand why some people who pay to work out at a gym, will not warm up, go straight to bench-pressing, swear and curse because they can't lift any more, talk crap and sit on the apparatuses and go home within 30 minutes. I mean, hey it's their money, but what's the use of "working out" if you're not really working out. They always wear caps, hoodies and striped shorts and come in groups of 4. Anyone met people like this before?
