No idea if this is the right thread sorry if its not, but I have a bit of fat on my stomach that I need to get rid of, I've been watching videos and some are saying that doing sit ups ect don't get rid of the fat so, what can I do to get rid of the it? Also I have pretty skinny arms so I'm confused about eating a lot, bulking and stuff.
During workouts at the gym and at home, I get really bad headaches. What could be the cause of these, and how could I stop them?

abs are made in the kitchen not in the gym.
do some cardio too but proper nutrition will reduce bodyfat enough to get your abs showing
My left arm is noticeably smaller than my right arm (probably like .5 inches) and yet just as strong.
I hate my life.
Bro I've got this too, it's so fucking annoying.
My right bicep is all peaky as fuck, and no matter how much i focus on my left bicep, I just can't get it the peak to get up.

Deadlifts
I'm fucking serious, if you want strong ass forearms and you aren't doing heavy deads, lmao just lmao
Been doing pull-ups for the last 2 weeks or so. Its awesome to notice the difference. When I started I could hardly do one now I can do about 8 in a row without stopping.

Rock climbing is probably the best forearm work out there is.

Kind of convenient., our school has a rock wall and I have two gym periods every day. I might look into this.
Do it. It's awesome. I made a thread here with some basic info:
If you got an HTC phone, buy JEFIT. If you got an iPhone, buy Full Fitness. Those are some great training apps, if you're not sure. If you go to the gym, ask one of the trainers there.
Don't really trust the trainer at the gym anymore since he gave me a little flawed routine and my phone is one of those old ones so no apps for me.
But the thing is, even if I knew what parts of my body to work out I don't really know any good exercises, I know of bench press and squats and a few other ones but I just recently looked up what deadlifts were since my trainer at the gym didn't teach me that.
Your trainer sucked then. Ask Casus for a training schedule or something.
I'd love to donate blood when I'm 18 (you get choco cookies coffee and some snacks too mm), but I'm afraid it will have a strong effect on my VO2 max. There's one place though, where you can donate blood plasma only.
e: Epic meal time protein bar mmm

How much would I be paying (UK) for a decent elliptical machine? Is it worth the money when I already enjoy jogging?
I wouldn't necessarily spend your money on it unless you have weak knees even then I would recommend a bike or something instead. I honestly think those things are silly in general
[editline]28th April 2011[/editline]
but to answer your question on price you could probably could a cheap one for 100 pounds or so. IDK for sure though since I'm in the US

I don't have specifically weak knees but recently while running I am getting a twinge in my left knee, not sure if this is due to running as a whole or just my current lack of correct footwear.
Haven't been to gym in over a month, really need to get back into it. Moved out so i want to get stable first... Still i feel weaker than i used to be :/

I would look more into getting better shoes. If you have a track available like from a school or something that could be better. If you have a lot of spare money go ahead and get the elliptical. I'm stingy with money and p poor since i'm at the uni so my opinion is biased in that respect

Looks like Perfumbro is going to need a new title
[editline]28th April 2011[/editline]
Good luck, Notmeh!
will still do abs at home though
trolololololo
all i saw was someone saying ask casus
???
This may not be the best place for this, but recommend me good shoes for running. I've been getting shin splints lately when running and I assume it's because of my 10€ running shoes.
What muscles are effected by rowing?
