Good for people who just start and you'll see results[/QUOTE]

SS is horrendously fucking overrated and I've never seen anyone get good results with it

You're partly right. I only like to recommend SS myself to newbies, is due to his use of 'mainlifts' (Compounds of sorts) within a certain rep range. SS is the most basic form, easiest to train with, fashion of training for newbies. It had it's flaws, but if look at things from a different angle, it's quite well targeted at the newbie trainee.
I couldn't find any newer pics but this is roughly a year old now.

strong haircut
You need some hair on that chest.
To whomever wondered about the plates, I don't go to gym and the heaviest I've seen sold in the store I buy my plates from are 15kgs but those are too large for me to fit in my backpack so there's no feasible way to get them home without using a taxi and I don't want to waste money anymore than necessary.
Maucer you said you worked out at home for like 6 months before your 4 months of gym though too right
also how tall are you?

I cant say I worked out for 6 months cause it was so irregular. But I've done home exercises irregularly for a few years, though. Mainly during the summers. Started doing more towards the end of last year.
166cm tall
i'd guess you're still growing then (looking at your pic you're 15 or 16?)
i dunno what impact this has on building muscle and weight though

Explains the faster visual results a bit. I put on like 35lbs and it's hardly noticeable
[editline]7th May 2011[/editline]

I look younger than I am, Im 17. But I haven't grown a cm in 1.5 years. I do look much older than in that pic tho.

a mate of mine started doing weights and bulking when he was about 17 i think. he was always quite a bit shorter than me, probably like 5'10", and i remember him steadily progressing. Then we went our separate ways for a couple of months. Next time I saw him he was 6"3' and built
jus cos you're 17 i wouldn't discount an unexpected growth spurt.
The doctor said I was supposed to get taller than my brother. I'm 20 and he's still like 2 inches taller :(
Pfffffffft. Midges all around here. 6'0.
6'2"

I'm confused again now
hitler got results from SS
[editline]7th May 2011[/editline]
but seriously what's SS?
I believe SS means starting strength, a workout program. Might be wrong though. Don't know anything about it though.
[QUOTE=SupahVee;29681351]I'm confused again now[/QUOTE]
hes dumb , just look at the other shit hes said lmao
SS isn't bad for starters. I mean it's got all the compound lifts and you'll make noticeable gains since your just starting to workout. Eventually you'll be able to make your own workouts.
And casus says I have no idea what I'm talking about even though he said my workout routine was to fat (or something like that). Thats why I haven't gained 10lbs in the last 3 months
Too bloated is what he said
As in too many fucking extra curls in the vain hope you will get the JACKED FIBRAZ

i said your gaining problem was from undereating bro ;__;
back from the gym, had a really nice biceps day
also i made love to the EZ bar
Calves hurt again, I lack non-concrete track. I'm gonna check in with the local foot orthopedist, my outer left foot has spikes of pain if I run, it's probably my extreme case of flat-foot-ness
Gotta work out with sunburn today.... FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
Just started at my local gym today, I did a stretch/cardio warmup -10mins bike, 10mins treadmill and I spent some time getting to all the equipment which ended up with me doing around an hour of a mixture of stuff, doing a few reps on each machine. I mostly want to lose a stone or a bit more (currently 6' weigh 12 stone, not a lot of muscle) but also lose my stomach and get some definition on my chest, abs and toughen up a bit. What would you guys recommend in terms of diet and routine? From what I've read cardio + diet is what'll get me weight loss but I don't know specifically what foods to avoid and what to stock up on.
Guys, do you remember when that 25 lb plate landed on my toe like two months ago? Well it started hurting so I picked at it and now it's coming off. Oh fuck oh fuck

avoid fried and general crap food. Stick to food like: chicken, tuna, lentils, beans, peanuts (peanut butter), spinach, etc.

fuck my toe hurts
Anything specifically wrong with fatty food even if it has plenty of protein in it?
