Nah, lots and lots of protein shakes. I live, breath, and make love to working out. Especially my arms and chest. Pulls up are what made me gain is so fast.

or, noobgains prehaps? I'm just assuming, what do I know. I am stupid.
yeaaaah unless you are like fucking tiny as shit, I don't care how often you work out or how ~INTENSE~ you are about working out, you are not adding two inches on your arms in two weeks.

How long have you been working out for? I got noobgains really fast, going from like 5 pull-ups to 20ish in under a month, getting a nice physique really fast. I believe it's just good genetics, look at Lee Priest at 17 @_@
I've remained at the same weight for around 6 months now, but I haven't been able to improve my pull ups. I've improved everything else
what the fuck?

I been working out since I was 16 yrs old. I started running first. Went from 290lbs to 160-170lbs. I played 2 years of Highschool football, I had some bad shit happen to me, and went through a depression so I stopped playing football. I played Left Guard, & Defense end.
I also have very good genetics, like you said probably have something to do with it. My whole family is big Germans/Scots/Irish people.
When I work out I tend to go over my limit as well. Also I am doing some training with a friend for the Army rangers. A buddy of mine who's in the forces helps me. I just need to start running more, and get a weight set.
I'm probably measuring it wrong in the sense that prior to that I been working out, but never measured my biceps/triceps. I been doing pushups and curls for a while now, so doing pulls ups probably helped pull my muscle up a inch. I got a list of the gain if you want I can post it.

do 21's, they rule for overcoming the wall. do 7 half reps on the first half of the range of motion, then 7 more reps on the second half of the ROM, then 7 full reps.
That's the worst piece of advice I've ever seen. You think he'd add 25 pounds from doing those gay 21's?
No.
Sometimes, rarely, the actual routine is an issue. Most of the times it's just inadequate food amounts.

Peanut butter...I've heard that's good to eat, because it has lots of protein in it.

um
um
Well not that gunked up crap. Natural peanut butter, but even the other junk is alright, the benefits outweigh the downs.

Listen here you little skinny prick, i gave no advice for adding weight, i gave advice for help with pull ups, now get the fuck out of here you stupid homo
if you're gonna try and tell me i have no clue what i'm talking about then post pictures of yourself.
also, if they're gay, add those into your routine and then come back and try to talk shit. i bet you can't even do one set of that.
infact you know what, i'm so pissed off, you just went against the whole body building world. if you're having trouble performing an exercise or moving up in weight on that exercise, the common knowledge is to do the half reps along with the full exercise
stfu and gtfo skinny
and the only exercises that would add 25 lbs in a decent amount of time are squats, dead lifts and clean and jerks
you really have no idea what you're talking about
Peanut butter...I've heard that's good to eat, because it has lots of protein in it.
peanut butter is high in minerals, natural fats that are healthy for your skin and well being, and yes, it has a good amount of protein. a pbnj with wheat bread and no sugar jelly is a pretty rad snack. if you're really broke, get chicken hot dogs, whole wheat buns and put peanut butter on the hot dog. it's pretty tasty and it's a good mixture of protein/fat.

um fyi peanut butter is full of sat fats and whats an unnatural fat???
[editline]23rd May 2011[/editline]
wait a second why are you telling him to do some kind of gay bicep isolation exercise for improving a pullup instead of a lat exercise

it's not a bicep isolation exercise, it's both range of motions with added stress on each muscle group used in pullups
unnatural fat is the shit that you don't need from food
e.g. fish oil, peanut butter are good fats
i should've said good fats not natural fats
but whatevz
you get the point

but peanut butter is full of saturated fats ( which raise blood lipids and generally worsen health and are unessential fats )
21 is basically a bicep curl that fiddles with rom and in no way is superior to a regular bicep curl, and it completely ignores the entire back ( which i can guarantee is what is making him stall, and because hes on a calorie defecit)
saturated fats aren't bad
i wouldnt call them good or even something thats ok to eat in large quantities ( peanut butter)
