You know what has been shown to increase risk of heart disease? High CHO intake.

gasp
The basis of like every mass building diet out there. Should we suddenly stop eating large amounts of carbs?
thats what you get from a bad diet and 10 months and a weird routine ( barely read it !!)
P.S Casus regarding cholesterol
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2790097/pdf/ijerph-06-02626.pdf
"The Japanese have long been cited in support of the lipid hypothesis, but there is an abundance of research involving Japanese participants showing this hypothesis is in fact complete nonsense. The latest of such studies appeared in the Journal of Lipid Nutrition[8].
Japanese citizens over the age of 40 qualify for free annual health check-ups. The Fukui Study was based on data collected by the Public Health Center of Fukui from such check ups between 1986 and 1990 of residents of Fukui City in Japan. Researchers stratified 22,971 participants into groups according to their cholesterol levels.
Compared with those in the 240-259 mg/dl category, those in the 160-169 mg/dl (both sexes) and the 140-159 mg/dl (women) groups suffered significantly higher all-cause mortality.
Next, the researchers conducted a meta-analysis of five large Japanese studies (including the Fukui Study) with a combined total of over 170,000 subjects to examine cholesterol levels and all-cause mortality.
Participants with cholesterol levels between 160-199 mg/dL were chosen as the reference group. The meta-analysis revealed that the relative risk in the <160 mg/dL group was significantly higher than in the reference group [RR = 1.71], and that the relative risks in the 200-239 mg/dL and >240 mg/dL groups were significantly lower than in the reference group [RRs of 0.83 and 0.78, respectively].
The authors suggest that “Japanese subjects with cholesterol levels >240 mg/dL (>6.22 mmol/L) should not be regarded as hypercholesterolemic or dyslipidemic except when having some genetic disorders like familial hypercholesterolemia because they are in the safest ranges in terms of all-cause mortality”."

it seems that youre just cheery picking studys that agree with you( alot like that one famous guy that thinks insulin , not calorie surplus , makes you fat) when i can find hundreds of studys and associations showing sat fats raising ldl can and will do negative things to your health
nerds

you can keep improving at that slow pace its ok. dont worry about the other people gaining twice as fast .
btw i lift 80 lbs bench 120 squat and 20 ohp , but that doesnt make my advice or criticism any less valid

The first study on the swedish farmers still supports what Im saying though. Those guys are eating huge amounts of saturated fats, and fat in general, with not nearly the amount of ill health effects we see in the west, that are "linked" to by organizations with some curious backers (its all about da hamiltons baby).
The 2nd study is study on Japanese people who have high cholesterol levels, yet live longer compared to people with low choles levels.
Fact remains is that inactivity, obesity and eating too fucking much is the cause of like, 90% of our "western" health problems.

you know mediteranians eat probably more fat and have near the same effect ( its because hundreds of other things including genetics lifestyle enviroment fat type ) . it in no way means that saturated fats dont have a link to ldl levels

i honestly cant imagine you have any legitimate knowledge with a routine that is 3x10-20 ( and some 3x8s) and is that bloated
Well..I've been doing about 10-12 sets of 30 with 15 pound dumbells...These things feel light now.
Lol what the fuck? You may be building endurance(pff), but if you want to get stronger, up the weight foo. also lower the reps per set
oh wise caaaasus please help me put together the home gym of my dreams
Anyone else dream of opening their own gym? Sometime in the future I'd like to. Find some nice empty warehouse, not too big, but not too small. Set it up, all with old school stuff, no stupid machines or anything, just old school free weights. Maybe set up a boxing ring as well. A man can dream.

Please don't put a fucking boxing ring in there unless you are a legitimate coach and are legitimately producing fighters. Otherwise you are just going to have douchebags who think they are still in high school trying to settle beefs every two seconds.
if you fly to knoxville , tn USA then ill box you jaeger
i honestly cant imagine you have any legitimate knowledge with a routine that is 3x10-20 ( and some 3x8s) and is that bloated
Your an idiot, if had actually read my routine you would have noticed practically all my sets consist of 8 reps and a minimum of 3 sets per exercise, the 20 rep thing your talking about is actually weighted lunges which is actually 20 steps, and bloated? you dont know what your talking about kid.
you have more exercises than you need per muscle group ( that means bloated) , and theres no reason to pass the 8 rep range on p much anything at you stage, also your routine composition is terrible . how old are you
[editline]25th May 2011[/editline]
wait youre saying i dont know what im talking about when youre the one that gained <~20 lbs of muscle in 10 months
No I dont actually, 3 exercises per muscle group is not to much and if I were bloated I would be soft to the touch which im not. And I dont pass the 8 rep range if I can then im not lifting heavy enough. lets see your routine then hmm?
