Good comic, especially for a 6th grader, but the ending was kind of disappointing. Deus ex machina.
It was good, just so many plot inaccuracies. Like how it had nuke launchers to destroy asteroids but mount Everest was to big. Or how even a small mountain was thrown and some how missed the nuke launchers. Sort of inspired to write something based off this now.
There is easily a sequel set up in the comic. Remnants of the now enlightened Luna colony are trying to piece back together the moon and recolonise Earth, while the people of Mars take advantage of it. The people of Mars are obviously cybernetically or biologically enhanced in some way, and wear cool gas masks like the Helghan in Killzone.
This was actually really awesome, the kid has got some talent.
Fucking disturbing but awesome comic.
Say hello to my new avatar, the Assfrika!
That was awesome, disturbing, but awesome
Imagine that in CGI.
Tetsuo Shima, is that you?
I wonder if this kid realizes the comedic undertones that are placed in the story to keep you reading. Although I was thinking the scientist were going to extract the French man and use his powers. But the Angel of death out of fucking no where was a good enough substitute, because it led to the most amazing ending I have ever read. I truly think we should take this kids message and work together.
I had a dream about this last night
That was quite amazing, surprises me how a 6th grader can think so deeply about ethics, religion or science.
This kid WILL grow up to be an awesome writer
Wow, this kid knows more about biology than some people in my high school biology class.
This shit is great! Now, someone should remake it with better drawings. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] I like the arbitrary use of nukes the author makes. Seriously, In the beginning, when it says "the military couldn't stop it, there are like 7 mushroom clouds off in the background."
this kid can spell better than i could at that age
So a "god" saved the Earth? Well, that ruined the story for me.
So a "god" saved the Earth? Well, that ruined the story for me.
look at me i'm so edgy god doesn't exist anyone who thinks so is fucking stupid hey, guess what, there are plenty of good religious people out there there are also good atheists, i know a lot, but shitheads like you make it seem different anyway, about the smiling faces, it was stated while they were dying they could smile voluntarily for the first time in years, so them smiling was forced by the organism.
The bible bro. It's pretty hardcore stuff if you actually read it.
It's crazy because it's filled with so much allusion and influences it's like professionally made work at some points. Even though I do think the religious message was silly what are you going to do the whole thing is silly and that's one of the things that makes it so interesting to read.
Don't know if this was posted yet but don't care. this originated from SA i remember reading the thread in the goldmine a while back
Woah that civil war is actually a good idea.
Woah that civil war is actually a good idea.
yeah totally...
He has better Handwriting than me
hahaha this is great especially the part with the angel of death coming out of nowhere
This reminds me of the thing.
"blood spurts differently under moon gravity" The kid thought of EVERYTHING.
That line made me giggle.
Back in Grade 3, we were required to write a short story. I made up this story about a giant robot that lived in Mercury and his arch nemesis was this hotdog looking thing. My teacher ended up liking it and made me convert it into a mini animation. Shit was mint. I gotta find it.
mint!
That was disturbing.
page 11 far left
Not the best written or drawn, but damn if this kid doesn't have potential.
Page 11 has many penis things. There is like a goose with hairy testicles and a dick growing out of a dick with a mouth.
