Shame this is their only album that's not shitty metalcore. What's odder is their first few albums were shitty metalcore, then they released this prog/melodic death album, then went back to shitty metalcore.

Yeah, Lamb of God are actually pretty good at writing politically charged lyrics. They have all the lyrical tendencies of a 90s punk band, when you think about it. Case in point:

Yeah, I'm going to start listening to Lamb Of God again
It's a massive build up and it's not a 'breakdown' of just palm muting and opens it's this really brutal riffing section

Wrath is the best in my opinion.

Why does everyone like Black Label so much? Listening to it now, and ignoring the incomprehensible vocals (Randy had absolutely [b]horrible[/b] vocals on [i]New American Gospel[/i]... so glad he improved them), there's nothing really unique about the song. I like the sound of the kick, I will admit, but I can't really see this song forming a wall or anything.
They have a handful songs far more groovier and worthy of a wall than this. Maybe it's just me though...
Well, in regards to the vocals, I just read this on the Wikipedia. No idea how valid it is:
