chasing shadows, excision, datsik and koan sound are my favorite artists for dubstep.

So i like standard dubstep artists like rusko who stick to the traditional dubstep formula (very nasty and kinda heavy wubbing and brrrring) but don't like artists who stray really far from the formula like bassnectar (he's fucking incredible in concert but most of his released songs sound like something i could do easy in fruity loops, and i suck at using it).

can i get some recommendations?

I don't really know much about dubstep, to be honest, i only got into it a little while ago, but check the previous page at the bottom where my post is and listen to the song by druley called "Fail"

I have no clue if it's what you're looking for, but if so awesome!

Check out albums called This is dubstep VOL 1, 2 and 3. They have pretty cool that kinda songs.
