4 was pretty solid. It was fun watching Burt's ancestor start off as a timid aristocrat and become the clear predecessor to Mr. Gummer in the future

I love that Burt is one of the few gun nuts characters in film that actually practices proper gun safety.
Him checking the cylinder of that revolver he gave to the kid in the first movie to make absolutely sure that it's still unloaded when he gets it back is a great touch that most filmmakers would just ignore. Plus Michael Gross has even said that throughout filming the entire Tremors franchise, he has been careful to never, ever point any of the guns Burt wielded at any other people.
