Beyond that they have a little lee-way on how to restrict and forbid inheriting and passing down firearms.
That answers my question perfectly. Thank you, sir.
Found a purpose for my old guitar case.
Figured I might as well post a photo of my now twin K98's [t]https://dl2.pushbulletusercontent.com/rv9uF0hh6iVsm1r5ifJCgtA0SFBTQEVX/20151203_205606.jpg[/t] top one is a 1912 Steyr, post WWII rebuild to rechamber it into 7.62NATO. Guy who sold it to me swore up and down that it was an Israel sniper rifle, lol. The bottom is my new K98k, made in Oberndorf in 1944

So, if anyone remembers my single shot with the tactical stock, I found a picture of it back when I got it. You can kinda see why I opted for a new stock.
What's the OAL on that thing?
27 inches is the overall length. Barrel is 18.5 inches.
I'm pretty sure that's straight up fucking illegal.
NY's done weird shit like that too. Most of my friends resorted to just hiding their stuff or shooting it in the farmland where people don't give a shit.
Ich auch ffs
I dropped the möchte as it's implied. One can still say 'Ich mich auch' and be correct in some cases.
Trying to find some pictures of old weapon mods, What did they look like from the 1950's to the 1970's? Specifically Reflex, Holographic, Red Dot Scope and laser sights.

Reflector sights were used through WWII in aircraft and anti-aircraft weapons, but I don't know of any examples used in firearms. Look up the QwikPoint (1970): [t]http://www.vintagepaperads.com/assets/images/CQ0395.jpg[/t]

Specifically Reflex, Holographic, Red Dot Scope and laser sights.
laser sights were near non existent until pretty recently. They were big and bulky and far too big to be fitted to anything practical. This is the handgun from the first Terminator movie. It had a laser sight, but it had an external battery pack that they hid under Arnie's jacket. This is one of the first night vision scopes, mounted to an M1 Carbine, and had no practical purpose at all This is the "Vampir" night vision scope the Germans used on STG-44's Also not at all practical. Panzer V Panthers were mounted with a similar setup for Commanders to use and it's actually practical. Forgotten Weapons did a video on the M1903 musket sight, one of the first sniper scopes the US used. Reflex, holographic, red dot scopes, and laser sights didn't exist in any practical form before the 80's and 90's. Iron sights were the name of the game, and anything else was too bulky for your average infantrymen to be carrying into war. Batteries weren't powerful enough back then, lasers weren't efficient enough, and anything else was too bulky.

Just ordered this baby, can't wait for it to come to my local FFL. Anyone have experience with Atlantic Firearms, how long do they usually take to get to you guys?
I ordered a rifle from them and it arrived at my FFL in less than a week. Great experience overall.
This is one of the first night vision scopes, mounted to an M1 Carbine, and had no practical purpose at all
Except they did have a practical purpose - the marines used them on Okinawa to secure their perimeters, and accounted for a good portion of Japanese casualties [t]https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/ba/M16A1_PVS-2.JPEG[/t] Additionally, practical night vision scopes without an IR light source were in service in Vietnam - just see the starlight scope
If I'm not mistaken, a US sniper during vietnam had a nv scope mounted on his m14 and took down 20 guys in 16 seconds or so at night.
If I'm not mistaken, a US sniper during vietnam had a nv scope mounted on his m14 and took down 20 guys in 16 seconds or so at night.
yea cause he was laying down in the grass right in front of them lol he was a behind the lines sniper iirc

Cause everything I've read on them is that they were hilariously fragile and everyone hated them because they had short range and weighed over 30 pounds. Comparing a starlight scope to the M3 night vision Carbines is like apple to oranges.

Did a training module on some discount site to get a deal on Aimpoints, turns out I can't because they ship from the US so ITAR and also my store said not to order anything that ships from the US.
What site was that?
What site was that?
3point5, it's for retail employees. They've got deals for S&W, Daniel Defence, TC, and some other optics company too that I probably won't be able to redeem too because not in the US.
ITAR is the reason I couldn't take my buddy's old .30-06 ammo home when I went down to Michigan last year.
I ordered my followers and springs for my KSG last Thursday and I got my springs that Saturday. The followers were supposed to be here Monday but they've been delayed and they showed up at my local DC two days ago and haven't updated since than. God this is such suffering. I'm hoping the followers and springs fix my feeding issues. I also ordered a HSGI Shell Tray for my Costa-Rig, elastic holders for my 20GA shells and I ordered the extended mag tube switch for my KSG and a one-point sling mount for it. This thing is gonna be baller if I could only get this shit delivered. [editline]5th December 2015[/editline] In happier news I bought a new holster today. It kinda like folds flat so I can wear it all day at work and when I'm ready to leave for the night I can just pop my gun out of my ankle holster and into my waistband where I can actually get to it if I need it on my way to my truck or getting gas or some shit. And I was able to buy my cousin some 40S&W for a christmas gift. In NY State you're not allowed to purchase pistol ammunition unless you have a pistol permit. Which I have. But they won't sell you calibers outside of the firearms you own so since I don't own a 40S&W I thought they'd give me a hard time but it was so busy they didn't even look.
ITAR should never have been applied to allied nations. On another note, has the panic buying started yet?
I'm afraid that they're going to do a tardban and end up glazing blanks/BFONGs into the bans as well, that would kill reenacting outright.
Considering 30% of Japanese casualties came from them you'd be a fool to hate it.
yea I'm asking for citation on that because I've never read that before. As far as I know, the only gun legislation that Obama has been talking about is making it so people on no-fly-lists can't buy guns.
