Keep dreaming. It will never happen. Either the status quo will be maintained or our rights will slowly be eroded. We'll never get our lost rights back.

In states where it's not, like Cali, individual counties are making them shall issue. Damn near all states have legalized suppressors. Neither of these were the case 10 years ago.

The only thing that may be close to being removed just might be the suppressors. If that can happen, then MGs are closer to open up.
There has been a steady increase of states legalising NFA items...

Didn't used to have to have a permit to carry, now you do and you gotta pay money for it and it can be revoked for any little mistake if they want. NFA items didn't used to be restricted, now they are and if you want one you gotta register it and pay extra money just because it's special. They aren't 'rights' anymore. They've been turned into privileges. Concessions, granted, which can be taken away.
To be fair I can understand the rationale behind restricting things like machine guns (that doesn't mean I support it) but it's bullshit that semi automatics can be classed as machine guns just for working a certain way.

And it's only been a week since it was made like that.
So now that job is moving along I need to pick up a cheaper carry piece. What to get? S&W M&P compact, S&W airlight .38, ruger SR9C, take our friendly neighborhood mod up on his offer of a TP9, something else? Just needs to be reliable and less than like $500.

If you're looking for capacity there's the M&P Compact, SR9C, XD Mod 2, Police trade in glock 19's/26's, SARARMS B6P Compact, Witness Compact, S&W SD 9 VE, Taurus PT111 G2, and a few others.

You know our discussion... would still love to find a S&W 3904.

Avoid the PK380, reliability issues. Other options are the XDs/4.0 series (nice with the extended mag), Kahr, or a CZ RAMI if you get lucky.
Which of those options has the shortest pulls? I really don't like strikers but shorter pulls are alright. The LC9 has a pretty long one from what I remember shooting my friends. Also still tempted to just pick up a CZ P07 Duty because its one of my favorite feeling guns but I think its a bit big.

Oh my god that Rami is so cute. If I can find one I'll totally buy it next week when I get my license.
My Pistol Purchase Permit got approved after only one day, picking up a Glock 19 Gen 4 on Friday, it's going to be my carry gun.

New or used, by the end of the week it will be gone. Get the RAMI if you want a smaller total package. PCR for that nice sweet spot of size and capacity. The CZ is also great with a DA first shot and a decent SA from factory. The XDm 3.8" compact in the caliber of your choice is another option.
Yeah I'm definitely getting the RAMI.

The nice thing about the PCR is I already know how it handles, and it would be a great gun for stock divison IPSC.
Those 6 the decockers? :buddy:
Only 2 of them, the rest are safety.
Wanna send me one?
Wanna send me one?
I'll pm you tomorrow when I'm back at work if we still have one.
Wanna send me one?
Turns out both guns have disappeared with UncleJimmema nowhere to be seen.
Turns out both guns have disappeared with UncleJimmema nowhere to be seen.
Called 4 shops in the area, one distributor has it on waitlist but it's the safety version and no others have anything. Only place on line I can find it is gunbroker and I'd rather not.
Why is there a SIG p228 mag in the mix, and why is it $9,000?!
Don't you remember when CTD was charging a couple thousand per box of bulk 22? I'm not surprised at all. BTW, saving $15 on a $1k+ gun is meaningless. If you want to buy a PTR91, buy it from Atlantic Arms. They will match or beat CTD's price and have a properly aligned pic rail welded onto it for no extra cost. DSA is just way overpriced in general.
