I had a rolling rock once and I thought someone was playing a joke on me by replacing the beer in my can with cow piss.
I had a rolling rock once and I thought someone was playing a joke on me by replacing the beer in my can with cow piss.
It used to be better but its turned to shit since it got bought
I had a rolling rock once and I thought someone was playing a joke on me by replacing the beer in my can with cow piss.
That's what I thought when I tried Bud Lite.
Sorry, "America Lite" now.
Got my CCW license today I'm highly thinking about buying a carry gun. I have plenty of pistols but only one that's of a sane size for carrying (para-ord night hawg .45) I like that it's .45 and it's an accurate little fucker for being a sub compact .45 but I got big paws and the fact that my pinky and part of my ring finger hangs off the bottom annoys the shit out of me. So my question is does anyone have any recommendations for a decent carry gun in 9mm or .45 that has a full size or at least close to it grip? single stack or double doesn't really matter nor does brand I ain't picky as long as it goes bang
Edit:
Just to give you guys a size reference for kinda what I'm looking for I would be totally okay with carrying my G19 if it didn't have a race trigger and zev techs dragonfly slide
Try either a HK USP compact or HK compact 45. irc there are extended mags with more room for your fingers.
I had a rolling rock once and I thought someone was playing a joke on me by replacing the beer in my can with cow piss.
I haven't tried cow piss but I can tell you with confidence that the urine I have tried is much less cloying than rolling rock

fine, maybe I'll bring luckies then. I'll be the one smoking them all anyway

I actually took a look at the HK45 compact and a Sig P320 compact in .45 and 9mm their about the same size but from what I saw the HK points a little more naturally for me which I like. The P320 points more like a stock glock which I'm not a fan of ( the 3 glocks i have are either on timberwolf frames or the grip is heavily modified)

Yeah. Actually quick question though because iirc you're around thereish. You ever pick up any guns from black river firearms over in Flora? Guy there is ordering in a CZ for me and he seems perfectly reputable but I figured I'd check.

Yup I'm in Red Devil territory too.
Bought a shooting mat, some 7.62 dummy rounds and a front sight tool for the Appleseed next weekend.

"NEWS!!!
Våpensmia is coming with WORLD NEWS for the hunters that nobody have seen the likes of.
Coming in May 2016".
Våpensmia is pretty much the only company still making guns in Norway.
There are a couple other small firms but most of them only make actions that you can buy and build yourself with parts, Magnum-Hansen making custom R700 actions for example.
Looks like a semi auto shotgun to me, what can be so fucking interesting about it?
Because it's from Norway? Unless that thing has a good price or unique lock up (highly doubtful), its just another clone of some other semiauto.
Sounds like a good start.
Well ordered the RAMI. Decided I was getting too stuck on the decocker models not being available because all the other ones I was looking at had manual safeties anyways.
I think I fixed my Kel-Tec KSG I don't know. Every two months I get a stick up my ass, fuck around with it, get annoyed and lock it in the safe for another two months until I remember it's time to mess with it again.
I bent the lifter arms in such a way to raise the shell higher to clear the chamber lip it kept catching on.
But now sometimes I rack it and shells don't eject from the magazine and they get stuck in there. The shell stop doesn't seem to want to cooperate sometimes. I don't know. Maybe I was getting tired and not racking hard enough. I got to take it out next week and shoot it and see what the next horrific malfunction is.
I wanna die.
The amount of disappointment I have now is immense. Just found a place that could replate and polish my 1911. They do a great job at plating, but just last year, they discontinued doing the polish.
I want this old gun to look new again since the old nickel finish is flaking off and I don't trust a lot of places to do it right.

Well before you go replate anything does it have any collector value? Is it an old colt or anything like that?
Well before you go replate anything does it have any collector value? Is it an old colt or anything like that?
This gun is very low in value in the grand scheme of 1911's. It's a Colt Government Model Series 70's made in the mid 70's with a nickel finish. The finish is now cloudy and flaking off the dust cover along with the most of the plating flaking off the barrel. In it's current condition, I would be lucky to get $500 for it. Thing still works, just looks crappy.
I was hoping the company could do the polisihing since their example pics were great. Kept all the original roll marks and everything looked nice. The company is Accurate Plating and Weaponry (APW) http://www.apwcogan.com/pistols/the-1911-style-pistol.html.
I wanted it replated in nickel and have the flats polished so the flats are shiny and the curves/rounds are matte, just like the original finish.
I have to buy some new grips, colt medalllion inserts, and some new grip bushings too. Right grip panel will not uncrew properly, so the screws take the bushings with them preventing the screws from being removed from the panel.
