Are those the ones that come with plates?
I want to make a sticker or a patch that says "Kel-Tec - If John Moses Browning Worked for Ikea."
I'm still waiting for someone to copy the KSG and make a good production run. DP-12 is so close but it's too heavy and two thick. I don't want two barrels.

Nah just class II Kevlar
E-mailed the gun range that I visit that allows you to just show up and pay $20 to shoot to ask permission to bring my pistols, because they apparently want people to do that. Got permission to bring them there anytime between now and New Year's. Planning on going July 1st to celebrate the birth of my nation by projecting hunks of lead and copper into a part of it.
Does Canada have free conservation ranges that you can go at pretty much any time? I used to go to an indoor one until i found a conservation range close by, indoor ranges blow balls.
In Ontario at least, pretty much all the conservation areas say "No target shooting." A number of municipalities are banning target shooting on crown land too. You also cannot shoot your handguns anywhere except a Chief Firearms Office approved range, and that basically means there needs to be a structured gun club with insurance.
It's probably white trash sounding but I haven't gone to a normal range outside of keeping M4 qualified, in years. I have this spot in the woods I go with friends where we strung paracord in the trees and gang clay pigeons of them. It's way more fun
Not really, my gun test range is a closed gravel road behind a destroyed bridge surrounded by gravel pits.
My old range was a big ass dirt pile bulldozed on a farm. Come to think of it my current one is that too...
Does anyone use a VLTOR BCM Gunfighter charging handle? I just got a Mod 4 and I love it, makes one handed charging so much easier and less painful.

I got a Mod 4 for my build. Very comfortable to use over the standard handle. Best $50 spent in that build. The large surface area is just right.
I personally like the stock CH on my rifle, but I have no idea what it is. Also, I've been thinking about building a second upper for my rifle for High Power competition. Any recommendations on BCGs to use that are affordable but durable? So far all I'm really thinking is a basic 20" barrel with a 1:7 twist, full length gas system. Not really looking to spend a fortune on the furniture and receiver, though.
BCM Mod 4 is awesome. It's one of the items I always add to a build, like the Magpul BAD lever and MOE trigger guard.
Why Gun Control Can’t Be Solved in the USA
Posted June 22nd, 2016 @ 9:17am in #Trump #clinton2016
On average, Democrats (that’s my team*) use guns for shooting the innocent. We call that crime.
On average, Republicans use guns for sporting purposes and self-defense.
If you don’t believe me, you can check the statistics on the Internet that don’t exist. At least I couldn’t find any that looked credible.
But we do know that race and poverty are correlated. And we know that poverty and crime are correlated. And we know that race and political affiliation are correlated. Therefore, my team (Clinton) is more likely to use guns to shoot innocent people, whereas the other team (Trump) is more likely to use guns for sporting and defense.
That’s a gross generalization. Obviously. Your town might be totally different.
So it seems to me that gun control can’t be solved because Democrats are using guns to kill each other – and want it to stop – whereas Republicans are using guns to defend against Democrats. Psychologically, those are different risk profiles. And you can’t reconcile those interests, except on the margins. For example, both sides might agree that rocket launchers are a step too far. But Democrats are unlikely to talk Republicans out of gun ownership because it comes off as “Put down your gun so I can shoot you.”
Let’s all take a deep breath and shake off the mental discomfort I just induced in half of my readers. You can quibble with my unsupported assumptions about gun use, but keep in mind that my point is about psychology and about big group averages. If Republicans think they need guns to protect against Democrats, that’s their reality. And if Democrats believe guns make the world more dangerous for themselves, that is their reality. And they can both be right. Your risk profile is different from mine.
So let’s stop acting as if there is something like “common sense” gun control to be had if we all act reasonably. That’s not an option in this case because we all have different risk profiles when it comes to guns. My gun probably makes me safer, but perhaps yours makes you less safe. You can’t reconcile those interests.
Our situation in the United States is that people with different risk profiles are voting for their self-interests as they see it. There is no compromise to be had in this situation unless you brainwash one side or the other to see their self-interest differently. And I don’t see anyone with persuasion skills trying to do that on either side.
Fear always beats reason. So as long as Democrats are mostly using guns to shoot innocent people (intentionally or accidentally) and Republicans are mostly using guns for sport or self-defense, no compromise can be had.
If we had a real government – the kind that works – we would acknowledge that gun violence is not one big problem with one big solution. It is millions of people with different risk profiles voting their self-interest as they see it.
So stop acting like one side is stupid. Both sides of the gun issue are scared, and both have legitimate reasons to be that way. Neither side is “right.”

*I endorsed Clinton for president for my personal safety. I write about Trump’s powers of persuasion and it is not safe to live in California if people think you support Trump in any way. Also, I’m rich, so I don’t want anything to change in this country. The rest of you might have a different risk profile.

If you are in favor of common-sense gun control laws, you might like my book. But that would be more coincidence than causation because the book doesn’t mention guns. I don’t even know why I brought it up.
Surprised Dilbert would do a piece on gun control.

I do find it funny how he boiled down the two sides. Dems as shooting each other and the Reps being afraid of the Dems. I am not surprised with his note near the end though. It's sad that comments are disabled on the page because I was expecting some entertainment.

That place kicked ass. Shooting clays with rifles is a shitload of fun
Got a Vortex Sparc AR for my rifle. Going out shooting tomorrow, will report back if it's good or not

Just picked up 250 S&B 2&5/8" slugs for $220 after taxes. Gonna be a fun range day Canada Day, and by fun I mean painful.
Apparently the NSW Firearms Registry got hacked yet again. Yay, people know where I live now and that there may be a possibility of firearms being held in my home.

And they say registries aren't a bad thing. Get your digital security shit together Australia. There has to be some serious levels of incompetence going on inside the agency that handles those records for a hack to succeed.

I had one on my AR and then on my AK because it can lower 1/3 co withness the iron sights.
I had a SPARC not a SPARC II though. It was a great micro red dot for the price, but I ended up replacing it with etched reticle optics mainly because I don't like relying on batteries.
I chose the SPARC because it had a 2 MOA dot as opposed to many others at the time having a larger dot. I replaced it with an EOTech on my AR for the 1 MOA dot.

Get an M16 BCG from Palmetto State Armory.
Actually, why not get the whole thing from PSA? I built a nice 20" AR with their upper and BCG, no issues, and it was at a good price too.

Canada's long gun registry was hacked over 400 times before being abolished. The handgun registry is still there, though, and is likely still being hacked.
Ok so just had a retarded idea; DP28 mag on a PSL. Worth looking into y/n?
Back, tested the Sparc AR. Love it, no surprise though.
Ok so just had a retarded idea; DP28 mag on a PSL. Worth looking into y/n?
Might not have enough clearance on at the feed lips to make it to the bolt of a PSL. Because it's a pan design you can't just add a little mag extension either, at least not without reworking the spring tension and adding dummy spacers.
