It must be nice to be too skinny for your damn holsters.... :saddowns:
I've actually got a pretty big gut. I'm a department store security so all I do is eat fast food and sit all day. The holster I bought is just incredibly big.

looked like this before, ugly piss-yellow lacquer/stain they put on to make all rifles make look identical
[t]http://i.imgur.com/3fICaYx.png[/t]
it was commonly done on european match long guns, it's why virtually all walther, kongsberg, feinwerkbau etc match rifles of the same model look exactly the same. the ugly top coat covers up any nice looking wood, even on laminated stocks
[editline]17th July 2016[/editline]
should have used an even darker stain but idk
looks more yellow in the pics than in real life
Should've stained it cherry
Some cunt was shooting a .50 Desert Eagle like a jackass at my indoor range. He was trying to be *cool* by firing it one handed.
Too bad the fuckers gun had at least 1 fail to feed with every mag he shot through.

What is it about rental deagles that attracts morons?
What is it about rental deagles that attracts morons?
I think it was his. Either that or he actually bought a ridiculous holster that went halfway down his leg for a rental gun.
edit: I mean I would be pretty mad if I had to clear a jam every time I started shooting for a gun I paid $1k+ for

Call of Duty and Counter Strike?
Man I miss my old range that had 70 different pistols for rent. Wasn't that expensive either.
Bought a SigPro 2022 yesterday.
Probably overpaid, don't really care, money went to the only good local shop around here. I really like this thing so far. It's the first handgun I've shot that felt so good in my hand. Ran like a top at the range, the only accuracy issues I had with it were all due to my faults, not the guns.
Think I should be able to carry it with ease since I'm a certified big nigga, gonna start looking into classes soon, once I get my accuracy to where I want it to be.
I want to cut my IWB thick leather holster holster down because it's way longer than it needs to be for my RAMI. What should I use? Would a miter saw work or would that tear it too much? A razor might be a better bet but if the saw would work that'd be nice. I'm a lazy person.

The Deagle is picky with ammo, you can't shoot cheap stuff with it.

You also need a rock solid grip to help prevent FTF/FTE. Two hands on the grip and pushing forward helps out with this sort of thing.

Noted in case I ever decide to rent out a Deagle.
I wouldn't mind the experience of shooting one, it's just not something I could see myself owning
I just don't see any practicality in a handgun that measures over a foot long and weighs over 4 pounds. Point of a handgun is that it's supposed to be light and concealable.
I don't think guns should always be about practicality. That's a bad line of thinking. I enjoy shooting all my stupid impractical guns more than the actual workhorses.

Fair enough. I'll still stick with what I think is practical though.

Handgun hunting. The Deagle could probably kill a moose.
Desert Eagles are silly, but I've handled one and regret not getting a chance to shoot it. There's something uniquely ballsy about a gas operated 44 magnum semi automatic. I was offered a 357 Deagle for my C96 but turned it down. I figured I can go out and get a Deagle any time I want one, but a Mauser is much harder to lay hands on.
Handgun hunting. The Deagle could probably kill a moose.
I guess taking a 4 pound handgun to the field over a 10 pound rifle has its advantages...
I'd prefer an S&W 500 though, if only for the reliability. That being said, it's half a pound heavier, so who knows what I'd really decide on.
I wish we had huge tracts of wilderness in this state. I'd hike my way out somewhere, see the sights, camp for the night and hike back in the morning, just for the heck of it. Practice my ruck-marching and land-nav.
Handgun hunting. The Deagle could probably kill a moose.
Use the bullets for moose hunting, the gun for rabbit squashing. 2 meals in one.
Honestly I hate talking to anyone that treats me like I'm a piece of shit because I own and enjoy firearms.
Even one of my closest friends from Mexico, I can feel the scorn whenever it is brought up.
There is no use going on a California rant on guns ,but seriously I was away for a few years and they want to pass more bullshit.
Other than that I am looking into getting some really cheap guns, I know the price has jumped significantly, but old guns seem pretty cool
Turkish Mauser rifles are pretty cheap.
So apparently the RCMP is attempting to fuck Canadians over yet again and ban any 10/22 mag over 10 rounds because of the Charger pistol. This popped up a few month ago once too and it never went anywhere, but now apparently stores are receiving visits from the RCMP and being forced to pull inventory. I smell a lawsuit coming, because far too many people own these guns, including I'm sure a few lawyers who have a personal interest in this.

My SP2022 is the first handgun I ever owned, I absolutely love it to pieces. I've yet to find ammo it won't eat, the gun definitely outshoots me in terms of accuracy still, and I really enjoy handling and shooting it.

I've got plenty, thanks.
Maybe if my dad drops his decades-long handgun fixation and gets an AR too.
