I purchased and installed a Cajun Gun Works Professional Trigger Upgrade kit in my P-09, which I initially thought was rather expensive at $220, but IMHO I'd upgrade any CZ with an Omega trigger with this.
It reduces the mile long trigger reset significantly (they claim 50%), which was my biggest gripe about the pistol, and it also reduces the 12lb DA to about 8lbs, which is a noticeable improvement.
Some of the springs in the kit are reduced power, but I chose to stay as close to the original spring weights as possible for reliability's sake when the kit gave me multiple spring weights.
I'm going to run some wolf 9mm through it tomorrow to check reliability.
Hmm. They're only like 2 hours from me and I go out to monroe frequently. Wonder if they've got anything nice for my RAMI.
Anybody have any AR15 sling recommendations?
My rifle's kinda weird. It comes with a standard buttstock (standard rear sling mount and a slot just under the buffer tube) and a QD hole on the underside of the gas block. It's also got a cutout on the front of the front sight frame, I might be able to clip something onto that.
I've been eyeing up Magpul's MMS system as a solution, but I'd like to know about other viable options.
Classy as fuck

Very nice. Breaks the budget though.

I've noticed the Lewis has a really unique report in every video I've seen of it. Totally cool action.

Is it? I always thought it sounded pretty close to its contemporaries. Not a huge fan of that magazine either, looks like it would pick up mud and dirt like crazy.
Finally got around to this. I keep my Glock 26 under my desk with a magnet. I used to keep it with the chamber empty because my knee could hit it or I'd end up playing with it while using the computer so I didn't want the trigger exposed if it was hot.
Got a trigger guard cover for it. Tied it off to a hook under the desk screwed right into it. So now I can keep it hot and if I need it I just pull it off the magnet and tug on it until the guard falls off.

Always seemed to me like it had a pretty distinct clatter as it runs. As for the magazine I've read the only problem they really had was loading. They are fairly reliable guns. Germans gladly put them to work whenever they were captured, so the magazine can't have been that big of a problem.
pretty sleek looking actually
Thanks. Kind of hard to see in the image, but the main stub of the Magpul hand stop is on the right rail as something for me to grab while running for competition to give me better muzzle control for safety since they NEVER set up competitions here for lefties and that's an extremely easy way to get kicked out. Everything else I went just for bare essentials. Don't even have a rear sling mount and used the butt stock to save a few pennies because I'm cheap. :v: I don't even have rail covers on the left side or bottom edge. Just the hand stop.
Wait are you a fellow leftie?
Hey, I am. Shoot all weapons left handed from bows to long gun. Write correct handed, though.

As you can see in my picture above, I use a Troy Industries CQB. I find it really comfortable and easy to use and manipulate. I don't have a lot of range time with it, only shot it once with it on, so I can't comment on durability. Price range, I think they're about $20 or $30, so nothing awful. I got mine as a gift.
Does anyone know where I can get a Garand for roughly $1k?

Not at any store I've ever been to. Most everywhere I've been a functioning Garand starts at $1200. You'll have to put out a wanted ad and buy from a private party and hope you don't get burned if you want a Garand for a thousand bucks.

Keep an eye on the CMP and see if any come back in stock. I paid $730 for my Service Grade, and it looks great (but took about 4 months to get here).
PSA: Remember to wear eye pro when at the range. Had some hot brass fly into my face and hit my cheek. Would have certainly hit my eye had it not been for my sunglasses.
right hand or bust
Still using your hands over there? Eugh.
Get with the times Norway, put down the axes and stop pillaging and get some fucking culture.
the people behind gunsamerica must be retarded, blocking foreign IPs.. wtf? neither me or any of my friends can access it, and we're on different ISPs too
guns.com, tfb, full30 etc all work so it can't be a block on our side either
looking for hi-res photos of guns there are always some from gunsamerica that pop up on google images, but can't view any of them
I can access it in Canada just fine, so it's not a total block on foreign IPs if that is what they've tried to do.

I just have to decide whether I want recoil management or accuracy :v:
I have been lurking for years and didn't know this thread existed somehow. Neat. Here's my family photo.

So I own a few guns, but can't bring them with me to college because my housemates have never been around guns before and are uncomfortable with them. Any ideas for storing about 80 guns for 2 years or so? I have a safe or three at home, but my family doesn't like having them around there either (to the point that i need to find a place for them real soon), and I'd rather not sell them all off. My dad put this collection together and left it to me, so I guess there is a lot more sentimental value than actual value placed on them. Plus it's fun to fire them all.

I love floating on the river and shooting my gat, too. But what's that have to do with which hand you bang with?
ambidextrious maybe?
Autocorrect on my phone is useless.

Storage unit. Take the safes and guns and store them in a small storage unit thats climate controlled. If you got the money, go ahead and pay for the whole 2 years
I'll "watch" them for 2 years.
I signed up with PSA to be notified when a part comes in stock. They email me every single day saying I should buy the part, but it's not in stock. This is infuriating.

Would really worry me especially with older guns. Two years is a long time to go without maintenance. If you miss a single spot prepping it for storage...
