Anyone get gun related stuff for Christmas? I got 200rds of 9mm and 100rds of 22
No firearm related swag for me. That's OK though.
Well, I got money for Christmas which I was going to use to buy a holster for my glock. But then I bought headphones because I can't carry my Glock except in my truck or at our deer lease, so I said fuck it.
Anyone get gun related stuff for Christmas? I got 200rds of 9mm and 100rds of 22
I got a brick of .22 in my stocking that my dad had asked me to buy a week earlier. So did my mom.

Huh, neat, ordered a bunch of stuff from Platatac and turns out they're giving away Gerber Shortcut Multitools with every web order. Not expecting quality but that's cool.
a new assault weapons ban was introduced to the house https://www.congress.gov/bill/114th-congress/house-bill/4269/text it probably wont pass with the republican majority but the amount of cosponsors (123) and title are concerning.
To regulate assault weapons, to ensure that the right to keep and bear arms is not unlimited, and for other purposes.
And with that news i bought myself a Christmas present, that may or may not be a 33 magazine clip for my handheld grenade
That bill is literally balls to the wall retarded. All AKs, all ARs, all G3 type rifles, FALs, sub2ks, Thompsons - and the very first line of the bill is directly contrary to the second amendment. Any jackass who votes in favor of this should be impeached outright.
Anyone got any experience with the Ruger 96 in 44mag? Just found one for sale online for $999. I did want a 45-70 but the price is pretty good for Australia and the ammo will be far cheaper.
good luck

Hand guards, pistol grips, high capacity magazines, grenade and rocket launchers... it's like I'm in 2003. At least I didn't see any mention of bayonet mounts. Then again, bayonets are useless, so who cares. I distinctly recall the 1994 ban being ineffectual at best and harmful at worst. Why do politicians keep doing this?
Someone should try some text matching software on the bill and see if it matches the 1994 AWB

This sort of shit psises me off. While our laws are restrictive as fuck, at least they are well written.
American politics are a fucking goat market. This sort of shit psises me off. While our laws are restrictive as fuck, at least they are well written.
Thats always the thing about these gun-control bills; they're never properly written or written by people who know what they're talking about or posses any sort of practical knowledge about firearms. They're always submitted the night before they're do, plagiarized from past bills, and written in crayon. NY "Save the lil chidlins gun safety act" was so poorly written, that it restricted police officers from carrying magazines with more than a 7 round capacity, as well as civilians.
I love how Glock had to make a special model extended barrel edition of the 17 for Denmark, since the standard G17's barrel is a couple mm too short. Just so damn stupid for your laws. Huge boxy pistol, still too small. Danmark ja!
Should've just offered the threaded barrel.
My girlfriend got me the Calico parts I wanted for Christmas... but they haven't even shipped from Calico yet. Only gun companies can be so far behind the times that it takes a week to process a credit card. I did go shoot the gun this weekend and took a 8x slow motion video of a mag dump. It's eleven minutes long. I'm tempted to speed it up to normal speed and make a gif of it since there's no sound.
but the amount of cosponsors (123) and title are concerning.
Well that explains it... [editline]27th December 2015[/editline] 123 out of 188 Democrats in the House. 1 in 3 Democrat Representatives is smart enough to not shoot themselves in the dick.
Most politicians these days are smart enough to know that gun control legislation, on a federal level, is political suicide.

Hey, does anyone have any experience with the PSA build kits that include an upper, lower parts kit, but no lower receiver? Furthermore, are forward assists and dust covers on an AR-15 really worth the premium cost? I don't exactly take bad care of my firearms, nor do live in a particularly sandy place.
Furthermore, are forward assists and dust covers on an AR-15 really worth the premium cost? Gonna order a Mini-14 now, with a Leupold 3-9x40 scope, picatinny rail, blued finish, wood stock, and a Sonic 35/45 suppressor. Should total at about 1920$ without shipping.
Australia too, Glock 17A [t]http://www.gunslot.com/files/gunslot/images/4120.jpg[/t]
It's like looking at a Canada-legal Makarov or P99. We need to have the barrel on the P99 stick out 4mm from the gun because 102mm (4", the standard size) is too short, but 106mm is just fine.
