Well, it's been about 3 weeks, though it's felt like months at this point. Had a lot of issues getting a hold of one of my previous employers since they were bought out by another company, but I got the info I need and I am now officially hired. I start training next monday. I'm beyond giddy right now.
For those of you not tracking, hickok45 is back up. Still some weird shit where none of his videos show up in the related videos bar, but his account and all its videos are back in service.

I haven't noticed anything weird. He get hacked or something?
??? What happened with him? I haven't noticed anything weird. He get hacked or something?
His channel got terminated because he didnt know that uploading videos would laso put them on Google+, and G+ got mad or something.

From what I understand, it was something to do with an automated take-down system. Fucking google needs to do more thorough testing when they try to automate shit like that. EDIT: Nevermind, you were right:
In the meantime, here's the word from Hickock
So I bought my dad's M&P Shield 9 off him, he wanted something smaller. I'd like to start working on the concealed carry thing, anyone got suggestions holster wise? On a related note, are there any Georgia residents here? Was reading up on the laws, supposedly Active Duty military don't need a license to carry.
I'm currently looking for a job. When I find something, I'll buy myself a brand new Arsenal Strike One Speed. At a thousand dollars, they are expensive pistols, but I have heard very good things about them from other shooters, and all reviews I have seen have been very positive. I'm going to be using it exclusively for sports shooting (IPSC Production), which unfortunately means that I cannot modify the trigger if I want to compete with it in that division. Now the decision is what color should it get it in? Informative for Black Friendly for Titanium Useful for Gold Optimistic for Bronze I'm actually mostly a fan of bronze myself.
Went to one of the largest (by volume) gun shops in the country. They had a deactivated MG42 and BAR 1918. Holy shit are they ever heavy.
Gold, just because it's cheesy as hell and people will love it at the range [editline]7th January 2016[/editline] Did you try cocking the 42 while standing? Takes some willpower to hold it while pinching that awfully strong spring together
I have to say, the gold might be a bit too flashy for my taste, which is why I like the bronze.

So I got somethings recently [t]http://i.imgur.com/BohXODD.jpg[/t] got the glock a few months ago, uncle passed away. my first pistol of my own. Bought the TLR-1 and the two 33rnd mags with christmas money. Haven't even shot it yet :v: I'm excited to.
I have to say, the gold might be a bit too flashy for my taste, which is why I like the bronze.
go with the all black. 2 tone pistols look awful.
go with the all black. 2 tone pistols look awful.
Black and silver is usually the only two-tone I like.
Look what I got!
Rotary Engines belong in AA, not GatPunch. (But no, really, neat. I had to look up Tround ammo to get what it was.)
So I bought a 10 round magazine for my 4506 because I came across one for dirt cheap online. Oh god it looks even more stupid in person than it did online. [T]http://i.imgur.com/uopsSqf.jpg[/t]
Heavy guns are pretty damn awesome.
Fuck heavy guns. Ever do 3-5 second rushes with an M240B? It fucking sucks. Gimme mobility over firepower any day.
Holy shit are they ever heavy.
Try running with one :v:
Anybody seen anything about the Franklin Armory Binary trigger group? Look's interesting and amazingly ATF-supposedly-approved
http://franklin-armory.myshopify.com/collections/triggers/products/binary-firing-system-trigger-pack I was about to buy one. $400? No thanks - I could buy a cool antique for that.
Franklin Armory once made a .308 single shot upper for the AR15. Used AR15 upper with .308 barrel, and a Beowolf bolt. Action locked open after every shot. It was interesting since it could have been a work around for some places that had restrictions.
http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/former-sheriff-arrested-sent-jail-named-him-153854700.html ?
That's him.
So hey, I have a serious carbon buildup in the breach of my M1861 Springfield from my last reenactment, my usual method of cleaning didn't clear it all they way, and neither did going through the barrel, so I need to find a way to clean out the carbon without damaging the metal of the gun. Any suggestions?
go with the all black. 2 tone pistols look awful.
It seems like Bronze win out, with 9 votes to two at max for the other options. It was also my personal preference. I actually think that two tone pistols look quite nice. Having the entire pistol in bronze would be too much.

Any suggestions?
What chemicals have you tried? Brake Cleaner? B-12 Chemtool? Naptha? Acetone? Don't get any of these on your wood, but none of them will hurt the metal. I use all of them every day in cleaning for building custom engines at my Performance Shop.

I see open carry pretty often, but I'm not sure on military regulations regarding carry.
Got to look at just about every modern 9mm carbine except the Sub2K, and I think I'm gonna save up for the TNW Aero.
