Anyone wanna buy my Krag? 109 year old piece of shit is so long that it's like jenga while drunk every time I rearrange the guns in my safe and have to put it in.
You figure out how to get it into the US and I'll buy it. And i know your pain with the rifle jenga. My Westinghouse Mosin Nagant's barrel is about 14 feet long, so it's taller than the door to the safe but can still fit inside. Trying to move rifles in and out of it is fucking awful. [editline]26th November 2015[/editline] would you even be able to find 5.45x18?
Anyone wanna buy my Krag? 109 year old piece of shit is so long that it's like jenga while drunk every time I rearrange the guns in my safe and have to put it in.
jenga is easier when you're drunk I get drunk and play strip jenga all the time
I preferred watching my ex-girlfriend play drunk twister than Jenga, but that's none of my concern.
drunk twister is an awful idea someone is bound to get thrown up on
In our experience, we didn't make it past the first stumble after the first move before it eventually just became a different drunken experience. 6/10, would try once more with someone not her.
Apparently the NDAA that was just signed by President Obama has a section that lets the CMP sell the surplus 1911s the DoD has.
I used to be the yugi oh master in middle school, then I lost my virginity and it was all over.
this was college I'm sure at least a few of these guys weren't virgins by this point
Shot the 30-06 today. Have a recoil absorbing pad on it, and it works great. Used to kick like a mule, now just feels like a 12 gauge shooting target loads.
Spent all day at the range in +-30 degree weather. Shot the Springfield '03, which was awesome, shot a few of our pistols (turns out I suck at shooting Glock 23 at a distance), and took some shots at a bunch of clay pigeons with the 20-gauge. I was the best shot with that, missed maybe 2 out of all the pigeons I was shooting. Brother got maybe 50-50, dad got maybe 2 out of all the shots he took. All in all a good day. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to uncap a beer and chill.
Anyone else planning to pick up a 1911 through the CMP? I'm not a member of any shooting clubs so I'm gonna have to look in to how that works to satisfy their requirements. I'm hoping to pick up a pre-A1 for less than 500 bucks. e: For the curious: https://m.reddit.com/r/guns/comments/21nn73/how_to_get_a_cmp_m1_garand/
People think they'll be around $800-1000, which is too rich for my blood. I could see paying $600 for a good condition one, but if they're anything like M9s now, they'll be clapped out hunks of junk.
I made my first firearm impulse buy today. Cabellas was selling reproduction navy 1851s for $140 and a muzzloading kit for $20. Deal ended yesterday technically, but i havent slept yet and thats what counts.

[editline]29th November 2015[/editline] Oh, most are still $150. I got the one I wanted though, the engraved steel frame with walnut grips.

Under what pretext are they charging you? Did you give them attitude? Remember what happened to that black professor (Gates i think his last name was) who was breaking into his own home and the police asked him to identify himself, he gave them lip and no ID and got arrested.

I don't know your local laws but here you don't need a carry permit to carry on your own property, regardless of whether or not its a publicly visible area like your front lawn.
Concealed carry of a loaded weapon
Took a partial family photo, missing a few, but too lazy.
