Are there any good compact CZ's similar to a Glock 19? Looking for a gun for my truck but not sure what to look for in the CZ pistols.
Are there any good compact CZ's similar to a Glock 19? Looking for a gun for my truck but not sure what to look for in the CZ pistols.
CZ-75 compact, CZ-75 PCR, P-01, P-07, 2075 RAMI with 14rd mag.

P07 Duty is really nice.

I usually sell them new for about $499 myself, although that one comes with 3 mags instead of 2 which is worth the extra $30.

I found a local range just a few miles down the road from me. The prices on range-time are ridiculous; they want over $20 an hour for non-members.
My options for ranges are: Go to crappy part of a city where they force you to buy their ammo on top of range fee. Go 45min to a place that charges $17 for a heated/AC indoor range, powered target holder, pistol caliber/slugs only range, and 25 yards MAX A DNR range 45 min away that is free, outdoors, only open only 5 months of the year, operates from 10-3 and has shitty ROs. 100yards max if you have scope, Everything else must be 25-50 yards. Just about every club in my area is an Izaak Walton, so basically shotguns and clays only. If they have range for other guns, there is not too many lanes and the range is short. Lots of old guys.
I found a local range just a few miles down the road from me. But, I also go during weekdays, so they might not care then...
My two local ranges are familiar enough with me that they don't charge me for going over and give me free targets and ammo discounts :v:
Why pay that when I can get an all-day pass at an outdoor range for the same price?
Why pay when I can go to the BLM range for free? Thanks gubbermint!
Why pay when there's a closed gravel road leading to a long-gone bridge, no houses nearby, and surrounded by gravel pits 2 miles away from my house? There's even a burned down couch there, and the gate makes a great shooting stand. what more could one ask for?
Where do you live? Fuddville USA?
Might as well be. The prices for guns also suck. I'm lucky if they are listed 15% off of MSRP. Most are being sold near or above MSRP.
I pay to go to a range because I can only shoot my handguns there. Also it's easier than finding crown land.
You guys are lame, I like my urban combat environments. I got that adam lanza thing going on :^)) furreal tho no take srsly I actually gotta pay out the ass for indoor ranges, but I have a place I can go shoot for days, just its a 4 hour round trip drive which sucks.
I used to be worried about being put on a watch list but then I realized I post regularly in FP firearms so it's much too late.
I love the club/range I go to. After hanging out and shooting the shit with the guys there literally and figuratively, shooting alone in a backyard is boring. $100 a year isn't bad when you have access to it 95% of the time. East Montana is too flat and all the public land is in the west half of the state which makes finding a place to shoot a bitch unless you know someone lucky enough to own land with hills on it. There's one popular spot here serving a city of 100,000 people, they've got a BLM RO there sometimes but it still feels sketch as hell.
Thanks to Obamacare, instead of getting a $1200 tax return back, I owe the govt $2,400 because I switched jobs, trippled my income, and got off Obamacare.
They may hold on to them. The US tends to hold on to such weapons so it can arm factions it agrees with. Not that such things generally work out real well, but arming your (current) friends is hard to resist when they are being snuffed out by your (current) enemies.
If they wanted to make a few bucks they'd demill them and sell them as parts kits to us :sex101:
If they wanted to make a few bucks they'd demill them and sell them as parts kits to us :sex101:
Or just sell them as is and make a few thousand per rifle, but hey, can't let those Americans have guns, that's too dangerous! So we'll arm 3rd world kids and "freedom fighters" who'll become terrorists, and Mexican drug cartels!

Markham park is a 45 min drive south and is always packed, and policed by the SS. There are a number of indoor ranges, most of them are not worth the entry fee. And Okeechobee shooting center is 1.5 hrs north and can get expensive, but has a bunch of different ranges. I hear about people going out into the everglades west of Miami and setting up out there, but it can get sketchy as hell. I don't even like riding my motorcycle on the dirt roads out there. You never know where they will be and nobody knows what the hell a backstop is. My compromise is a local shop that has a range in the back, less expensive than everywhere else and they don't police the 1hr rule at all. And if you go during the week you can have the whole range to yourself and not have to worry about the muzzle sweeping jabroni a few lanes away. BUT its small, and you can't shoot your own .223 in the long gun range, I haven't even asked about 7.65x54R.
