I like watching these guys because of how genuine their hype is. They don't try to force it, it's just a couple of buds playing a game together.

I finished the Killer is Dead LP, and I'm pretty much as lost as they are on the plot. I mean what hell's up with the [sp]Mondo/David/Mika/Moon River[/sp] plotline?! What the hell's up with [sp]the moon[/sp]?! It's like if the "Dark Side of the Moon" album of Pink Floyd was stitched together for the story.
I read that[sp]Kay'l's body dies later in the story anyway.[/sp] So I guess that scene will happen with random asian lady now.

Can you elaborate on what they're not doing right? From what I've seen through this LP the combat looks atrocious, the writing is terrible, and has overall aged terribly.
Other than the draw distance and the flyer being in their inventory, I have no idea what you are talking about. Omikron is a trainwreck, it is now and was back then. The combat is nonsense, both shooting and fighting. The story makes as much sense as a fever dream, and none of the mechanics are even remotely explained

Killer Is Dead is a fucking weird game. I loved playing every second of the thing because it's just senseless nonsense with some semblance of structure. The combat is a bit lacking, but it's still pretty solid.
Shame the game isn't the longest thing ever. I've not had an urge to replay it or anything either.

Unless it gave them a small medkit, they had the medkit to heal themselves and didn't try to look through their inventory yet again. They don't care to stock up in money to buy items to make their lives easier because they already hate the game, even woolie who wanted them to shut up to hear about a plot dump which could of had them rolling on the ground.
The arena is not only a source of income, but it's where you have the best place to learn about fighting mechanics, yes the training room should give you zero damage but the controls, graphics, and even the storyline was more common among that time to be not great. Now if they tried like the other david cage playthroughs, they can do a better job while laughing at the plot. As for the fps, it's best I found with a mouse and keyboard and while it's weakest part of the game but not impossible to play until the last time you have to go into that mode.
And what makes Omikron better in story then the others is that already starts out in a bizarre world and tells you from the begging that you're playing a video game. The plot twists are not far reaching because again it's bizarre and starts out that way. If one wants to talk about fever dreams all the other david cage games are like that were they go off the rail at some point, except for heavy rain which would of had the supernatural element but decided not to.

Keeping up to date as the game was in development and seeing this makes me glad I didn't skimp out on the PS4 version. Saved me a ton of heartache.
