i hear these guys hating curse of darkness every now and then, why's it that bad?
i love it, though probably largely due to nostalgia, but i still think it's a really fun game
I just beat Danganronpa 2, and because i didn't want to slog through another episode, i just decided to watch the "Trainwreck". I mean i liked the whole nuzlocke so whatever.
Like, a minute in and they're shitting on the dub, and that dub shitting is apparently quite a bit of this lp. I actually thought DR 1 and 2 had pretty solid dubs actually.
Regardless what was the main problem with this LP? Boring game begets boring commentary?

Boring game, mediocre gameplay, LONG AS FUCK. If I remember correctly it was as long as the MGSV lp, and had NO right to be. Combine that with a fan who lied about the length, and you have an exasperated Woolie and Liam just trying to slog through.
Liam's solution for the audio desync problem is make it so that you can't hear the audio at all.
It's in all of the videos he edits and it's a massive pain.

Not really, you're negating the huge damage pat did at that one part, it's not a tank but it's everything else about it makes it frustrating.
Now again did you read what I said, while it's better with a mouse and keyboard it's not my favorite part and the game is about half way now. Look at the other people who agree with me in the advantages of a mouse an keyboard. It's not duke nukem 3d, it's not doom, it's not quake, it's pretty bad fps but something that's less frequent than the fighting which isn't hard and they give you a training ground to practice with the shooting.
Saying yes that section and future other fps, does not validate anything else you're pushing what so ever.

I'm already face palming and laughing my ass off and it's not even 5 mins in, fighting to level up your character doesn't that much and Matt saying you're experience resets per character swap therefore pointless is something DSP would say.
I'm actually tempted to pick Omikron back up and play it for myself to see if they really are this fucking terrible or if the game really is that bad.
Don't get me wrong that LP is hilarious as shit and I love it but I'm still curious.

Because the thing that's causing it is probably still used. Someone brought up that their recording software/hardware causes some frames to drop on loading screens, and has since been made obsolete by the newer versions. They maybe still use it.
I think when they bought better microphones, they did not actually improve the backend tech, thus having better voices but still using terrrrrrrrrrible tech.
Pat spent the software upgrade budget on Overwatch crates.
