He's implying that Ithon is being such a Omikron supporter that it's actually Cage himself. Silly.

I was referencing one of the lines that shows when they can't interact with some object that Pat keeps saying out loud in the most resigned tone possible :v:
nvm it was funnier in my head
I wish they'd just get in the sneak with the manual controls and see how shitty they are.
Like holy fuck if you tried to drive one of those things it's like driving a car that would like to pull off moves seen in Initial D, but fails miserably :v:. It's terrible. And it'd be perfect for the LP.
I can't wait for the Shitstorm this year. Wonder what they'll be playing?
I wasn't planning on it, but in preparation, I'll be watching compilations of the past shitstorms leading up Shitstorm V.

It sucks that they still can't record podcast videos. Hopefully they get that replacement battery soon.
Weird, I could SWEAR there was a video. Guess I was just imagining things.
I would piledrive an alpaca for telekinesis.

This weeks podcast.

For the longest time, I had no internet access while at work.
It just gave me an excuse to marathon all the episodes of the podcast, I guess.
And it also helped me remember how episode 089 is probably their best episode ever.
Don't need to see Matt retweeting a bunch of heretics' premature viewing of the new shitstorm
Speaking of shitstorm but not really

Holy shit that was a good start for this year's Shitstorm!

This is starting to become too painful to watch.
But hearing everyone suffer is worth it.
I'm still right on what I've said.
Oh and if you like swimming and Matt not aligning himself to activate a pad, just you wait. One of the few actually bad things coming up that isn't an fps.

Is Omikron really the hill you want to die on?

He truly is the Nomad Soul.
As in he is somehow no mad at how bad this game is.

I don't care that their actual controls are screwed up, this game is difficult to walk STRAIGHT in, and when you're swimming, you can't touch the surface because it immediately drops your movement speed to 10%.
The fighting is terrible, and the shooting is unacceptable, it just doesn't work. Period. Even if their strafing worked, it's still sub doom-clone.
GOLDENEYE CAME OUT THREE YEARS BEFORE THIS GAME, Deus Ex came out the same year, GTA 3 would come out less than a year later. All of these games blow everything in Omikron out of the water, and what's left? The story? What story? The game has told you multiple times to basically not care about anyone but yourself, your goals are nonsense, at this point in the LP you're joining a useless resistance and blowing up bridges 10 minutes after KILLING A DEMON LORD IN HELL.
The game is nonsense, utter nonsense, and does absolutely nothing right in any situation
Also your action button changing...
The deal with the resistance turning out to be good guys that recruit the player is cliched as smeg, too. Saw it coming a mile off.

When I'm right I'm right. I've said before, I've my sanity check and went black and played it to a point where I'm sure all the way to the bank. Things are built differently in 2016, good and bad, so I judge from a 97-2001 game.
And the thing is I'm realistic and compared to the majority of reviews and ratings out there, they practically give it a perfect score where it's a C or C+ game.
Also hope Matt get's his other concerts, there's one that maybe, maybe they'll flip their shit over the lyrics thinking the game is fucking with them.

Have you played this game to the end or at least to the final boss? The fighting isn't that bad, bad, but having health allows you to make it. But besides that, weather or not Mr Cage made it intentional, the story's alien feeling to it works, while giving you backstory (you have to look for it), all his other games pretend they're not fever dreams. And for gta 3, omikron did people walking the side walks better to make it feel it's it's not a barron waste land but a city. There are flaws in this game while there are positives.
on a side note about games with shooting, Oni came out in 2001 and that had shooting and fighting. I've said it already, I do not like the fps in this game, luckily it's not a lot.

And judging for a game that came out in 1999 all of that stuff is still fucking garbage. Need I remind you that Half-Life 1 and Metal Gear Solid 1 had both been out for almost a whole year and they both blow Omikron out of the water in pretty much every aspect imaginable?
I'm not saying omikron was game of the year, deus ex and mgs 1 are top of the top, people are trying to resort to black and white, 100 or it's a 0, judgement.
Is it still fun to play, yes, in fact some of the flaws make me laugh. The animations that shake a person around are great. But, it's not a perfect game, even a 89% game

I'm offended that this masterpiece is a Scrublords!
Is it bad that I want to play a lot of the games n Scrublords because of how stupid they are
The fighting isn't that bad, bad, but having health allows you to make it.
When you need to resort to saying "Yeah it sucks but you just ignore that part", i'm not entirely sure why you consider that a valid argument. For me its along the same lines as "Final Fantasy 13 isn't bad because 40 hours in it gets good for a bit.".
And its fine Mr Cage/Mr Cox. We all know its you.
Capture him quickly before he reincarnates into another poster!
EDIT: I really don't see all the backlash, this cinematic masterpiece is one of the most underrated gems of its time. It's ze good game and I very much enjoy the women. They're very very attractive and have very fashionable hairstyles, as do all characters in the Omikron cross-media experience.

I was being harsh on the fighting at that part, it's not really terrible, just a small learning curve which isn't gradual. In fighting game standards, bad but not the worst I've seen, and for a bar not of fighting games it's so-so.
For final fantasy 13, did it ever get good?

Ah you have found me, but I am not Ithon, I am MaxofS2D, a demon created by David Cage or his real name Da-Veed of the entrapment!
Oh boy omikron part 18 is amazing
It probably would've helped if Omikron wasn't the polar opposite of the archetypal David Cage game. It fits in with the other games from a storytelling standpoint but when you know David Cage for his simple story-centered cinematic games with little to no gameplay and inconsequential decision-making (outside of Heavy Rain) and are presented with this convoluted hybrid adventure game with mild but very important RPG elements, limited saves, and pseudo-permadeath you probably wouldn't think Cage had anything to do with it if you didn't know any better.
