well, when you remember that most of them grew up with consoles and every other week we hear about Pat's Salty Johns: Now With Less Hand-Eye Coordination, it all starts to make sense

man, they really forgot everything about this game over the course of their playthrough
in this video liam complains about how MP is too hard to get and would be better if perfect guarding gives you some, which it does, and which he used to do in the earlier episodes
