IIRC the animators and project leaders had like 0 communication going on and ended up having a petty shit flinging contest in their own blogs and destroyed the project. Also the lead animator basically made a new game that's the same thing and it has it's own patreon going on.

The lead animator had a clause in the contract that said he could totally just take everything he did and dump it on his own project, I believe.
The whole thing was a mess, but I'm surprised they didn't ride the Patreon money train for even longer, because people are willing to pay absurd amounts of money for mediocre porn and it was making some absurd sum.
