They're playing Breakaway, a character based sports game made by Double Helix, against Yo!Videogames (Maxmillian dood's friends)
They're going to be on Maximilian's stream tonight (Dec. 10), too. They tend to start around 8pm or 9pm PST, but might be earlier. Watch Twitter for the specifics.

Is the theory that if they give every thumbnail gold numbers the end will come sooner or something?
Just one more hour left
I feel like i'm dying each episode, from laughing histerically to feeling extreme sadness and regret along with them. :v:
Like with most of the playthrough, they don't collect their thoughts. It's so easy to get to the last concert.

Songs saying they're going to hell.
All other walkthroughs tell you about this, except the premia strategy guide because it's a piece of shit.
Just one more hour left
halfway through the game. HLTB said seven hours.
Boss can take hours to beat, that said we should have a poll on either they will beat the boss or just use someone else's playthrough to show the ending.

we haven't come this far to just pussy out at the end
the suffering must continue
I still want them to stream Liam playing through the rest of the Sadness Saga. As far as I know, he's only played Heavy Rain.

The greatest character development of the suffering is Ithon, as he went from "Guys its actually fine" to "David cage is basically satan".
I mean from a narrative sense.
I don't think Omikron actually has an ending.

[sp]The fucking Werehog music during the fight.[/sp] :v:
How is Omikron slowly making less sense. Like 75% of that guide has stuff that is not explained ANYWHERE in the game. Like how could you possibly know the solutions to nearly any of these puzzles? Or knowing about these plot points that are literally not explained in universe until AFTER that point is over in the game.
Also, uh, where are the other players of Omikron? The game's CONCEPT DOESN'T WORK. You can't have a meta commentary when the only point, that it is a video game, is rendered null n the game itself. There are no other people playing the game, there is no explanation in how he created a game that links to Earth?
Why would the game be sold? Who would have developed it. Is it super jank because all the testers lost their souls? Would there be reviews?
At no point does this narrative make sense. No where. No how, no way.

Such regal beauty.
that fucking mouthbreathing, brain dead default facial expression in Omikron always gets me
Keep in mind this released the same year as Sonic Adventure. And Banjo Kazooie. And Perfect Fucking Dark, all console games that looked better than a PC game.

really, from the beginning up until the rooftops, it's possible to not suffer through 90% of the difficulties the LP had as long as you tackle the game like non david cage game. The world is setup in such a way where it still feels like omikron and except blue face hasn't been setup as David Cage surprise.
But then when I went back to [del]westworld[/del] omikron:
when I ventured into the outlands within the city dome, my eyes spotted a mother and daughter koopy living in a home being invaded by Kamiji raiders, after I slaughtered the Kamiji I stepped into the koopy household and murdered the baby koopy right in front of the mother just to see if I had it in me. Mother koopy was in sock as a took control her daughter's life with no remorse, as I plunged my power-rod into her stomach she pleaded for mercy and just when I thought the light in her eyes would perish she waddled her way to her child and carried the still corpse outside to the crop field. The slight was incredible, it was as though the npc was real and this wasn't a video game. Right in the middle of the tilled spoil they dropped and it was revealed to me the true puzzle to Omikron....
and that puzzle involved Suffering
I'm joking, when I first played this I saw this as a flawed, but it had pros in some areas that are notable like how Liam says it's an okay game. But at some point when revisiting realized that David Cage created a game better then what he thought he left it as. The whole suffering and torture joke, it fits so well it's very disappointing david cage didn't kayfabe himself as the prince of darkness.

to be fair Rare was a veterain studio when Banjo and Perfect Dark came out and Banjo had many iterations before the final product.
Quantic Dream started out wanting to motion capture their game and go big then start small, next year Detriot is coming out and it looks better then other games planned to come out that year. Just too bad they choose QTE over refining making an open world RPG.
Oh, forgot, omikron originally was planned for PC and playstation 1 and Edios decided it would be on the dreamcast, this cut into dev time which David Cage regretted.
Looking forward to the next episode of Omikron where they have to commit genocide to tie their shoes

Game was cut where [sp]fodo[/sp] could give his body back, parts of the dialog are hidden in the game file.
But this is better for all due purposes.

the guide is a piece of shit. The [sp]fodo[/sp]puzzle is somewhat guided in that you have one or two other black faces tell you where to find him. The secretly made genetic asteroid mine workers is the big thing David Cage did and fell in love with, which is supposed to be some black slaves uprising from the white slavers as they help you overthrow omikron's government off screen. (he might had the idea for them to fight in the streets vs the police and those super mechs as you walk around in the end). The pure puzzles are more people who play puzzle games like myst or 7th guest. Knowing that those scratch marks on the elevator for the crystal is fucked up, but if you were satan that's what you would do.
I keep getting a feeling that David Cage and George Lucas got the same idea with jarjar and gungans fight against robots from each other or from something else. (this was in development before episode 1)

The game is supposed to be the game you bought off the self, but your supposed to be the only one who has made it this far in the game. I think at one point the zombies in the first fps boss were supposed to be other players and destroying the portal upset satan's soul harvesting chain of operation as harvesting just omikrons at that size would offset the fixed population grow. The way they get around other nomad souls is that you're supposed to be caught right at the beginning. But deep down it raises the question, what was the mech doing there in the first place?
The joke explanation about having reviews, testers, ect, is that David Cage is satan and he replaced people with demons to do his bidding and give positive reviews.
