I believe one-offs are much more time consuming than LPs, since for each 20 30-minute ep LP you'd have to find 20 games that are either good enough to riff on for half an hour straight, or record a lot more, then spend the time to edit them, if you want something that's similar in quality. The only upside to them is that you can churn out a quick one to fill a slot or add some variety between LPs.
Not to mention LPs sort of write themselves to some extent with whatever jokes and memes you build along the way (racist wakka, suffering, etc).
All that said I have no idea what direction this is going in but I fear change and violently oppose it.

The thing that genuinely baffles me is how out of touch he is NOW. He genuinely believes that his idea for Detroit is unique. That we should be giving the robots sympathy, not hate, and it's the first piece that has dealt with this topic.
