It's one of the games i HAD to finish, When I got up to the point of the last boss I spent hours and hours in front of my ps2 because I had to know what comes after [editline]30th December 2016[/editline]
It started out as just Matt and Pat - Woolie and Liam came on board after a few years. I think the fact that the cast hasn't ballooned out to Game Grumps-tier size proves that they're pretty selective with who they bring on, so if they do add someone else to the crew, I would be willing to accept them.
Automerge breaking fucker. Best thing about 2bpf/sbfp is that they follow ye olde LP rules. Which is why i've been following them for so long. Don't fucking scream over the cutscenes, and generally, don't just scream I can't handle channels that just vomit on games with no though, except I love 2bfp for that. ChipCheezum is still my favourite LP channels because it's informative and humorous.

Even in the Silent Hill 2 LP, in which they explicitly stated at the beginning that they would respect the game and not talk over dialogue, they still did on occasion.
They're the only LP channel that I've stayed subscribed to for more than a year. Every other one that I've subscribed only lasted slightly under a year (Game Grumps hurts the most). I'll never know why I enjoy watching 4 Canadian fucks play video games for 3+ years, but they're doing something right. v:v:v
It's because they're mostly genuine people for me. They feel so casual and don't usually force character jokes etc. I don't know, they're good people that i enjoy watching and they usually have a game that i'm interested in.
Matt's only on hiatus.
true but that still means that for the next long while it's just pat and woolie half the cast just disappeared in like a week
I wonder what they're going to do with tonight's Fisticuffs, if they even have one. I would be totally be fine with Pat and Woolie just playing Street Fighter for an hour. :v:
One of my favorite things about the Best Friends is the little inside jokes that they throw around. Also their lore that makes them stand out from so many cookie cutter let's play channels. I actually find myself wanting to know more about these guys.
I had kind of hoped that Liam would stick around for the podcast, it's going to be lonely with just two people if they don't keep inviting guests.

Heh, on the Origin home screen there's a section called "On the Web." Under it, the SBF Titanfall 2 playthrough is on there.

I came for the casual gameplay, stayed for the casual racism But really though that's a part of what makes these guys great, "we promise nothing and deliver less". They're not pretending they're better than they are, it's all genuine fun and jokes between friends with really unique personalities, even if they can go a little overboard for most people (remember how PC Gamer wouldn't feature their podcast because of the titles? :v:) Also where else would you get shit like Maddentown and Pat's candy closet
I didn't know this about pc gamer?
Shit sorry it was PC Magazine not Gamer
I also like how most of them have done QA on games, so it's nice to hear stories about that and sometimes a little bit on how games are made.
I also like how most of them have done QA on games, so it's nice to hear stories about that and sometimes a little bit on how games are made.
I care less about hearing about production and more the idea that they know what they're talking about when they talk about games. In other words, they're the kind to say "that's not fair the game cheats" they'll say 'oh that's an X bug, that's super not my fault" instead.
I love how in the latest Fisticuffs at the very end [sp]the game just devolved into a laggy Divekick variant[/sp]
Drew a thing:
Amazing.
[sp]We would of had a great lp moment had Woolie been more of a coward.[/sp]
I hope Pat doesn't continue to spoil shit. Just fuckin guide the snail and let him experience the game.
to guide a snail you need a little bit of salt

"<Away from the mic> we gonna cut this out?") and it was interesting (and hilarious) to see that they're not always genuinely reacting. A lot of older videos had awkward cuts and edits.
