This is why i keep telling people you don't "actually" want a persona 4 lp.

How dare Pat keep spoiling Woolie and giving him advice on how to play. Woolie should play his own way and at his own pace. So long as it's exactly how I want it to be.

Honestly, the only real bad point so far has been the hour of ignoring a boss, at one point favouring the shortcut back to Firelink. Even then, I can kinda understand going the shortcut back first if you don't know the way, and I get that Pat wanted Woolie to upgrade his shit but it's still kinda frustrating if you've played DS1 before. Same could be said for any LP/stream of anything where that kind of thing happens, I suppose.

I do really wish Pat would guide Woolie to complete more NPC quests, though. At least Sigmeyer and Solaire. He's actually missing out on a pretty big aspect of the game.

I sure as hell didn't finish any of the NPC quests on my first run. He seems to like this game a lot, maybe he'll do a stream of it some time down the line?

Solaire would require massive handholding to get the [I]good[/I] outcome.

They're both dead simple other than [sp]saving Solaire towards the end.[/sp] Literally all he would need to say is "you might encounter an NPC on a quest line in this zone so be on the lookout."

So I may be playing the for honor beta with pat tomorrow on his stream. This should be something.

Not to distract from the DS discussion, but has anyone been watching the RE7 playthrough? For someone who talks up the series so much Pat's been doing a piss poor job of it. [sp]He gives up trying to shoot the hives when like the first bullet doesn't cut it. He consistently ran into Marguerite without waiting to see if she moved from her spot, and finally at the end of the last part when you go back to grab the lamp he hears the growling coming from the hole he looks down for like half a second and then completely gives up and looks around the room while shit's happening [/sp]

PAt used the item that highlights literally everything in the level, looks right at an item, but just doesn't pick it up. What the fuck

He'll never pick up that flame round. It was dead center of the screen when he was trying to figure out what round was in the launcher. And now he walks right past it with the stims on. They'll prolly never find the repair kit either. :v:

You have to think about this from Pat's perspective. You know like just under the height of a coffee table. Hard to see things clearly from that low.

To be honest, the Dark Souls LP would be seriously improved if Pat researched a lot before starting. It absolutely worked for Geop's LP of the same game, and it would cut down on the moments where both of them have no fucking clue what to do.
