Funny how this is usually the case of a lot of people.
Zero genuinely feels like they rendered out a ton of environments for something else entirely, and then someone else entirely who didn't know what they were doing had to make a game out of it. The gameplay is ass, the story makes no sense and doesn't matter, the environments are empty and dead, and the 'puzzles' are almost nonexistent. Nothing happens in the game
Guess that's why they call it Zero then.

I couldn't stand their Souls/Bloodborne playthrough. It's like they don't pay attention at all.
I think they do pay attention to a lot of things but I agree they would occasionally miss something obvious.

Watching them stumble through XCOM2 has made me realise just how much I'd like to actually play the game, even if it would thoroughly ruin me.
I'm almost surprised we've gotten this many videos of it, with Pat trying to commentate and teach Wooliam about the game he should be fucking up on an astronomical scale, that is the Zaibatsu way.

it's like you as the viewer don't have specific things in the game and in commentary you have to focus on so your attention span can be better distributed

They specifically mentioned that they've stopped talking during the gameplay, so at least they've mentioned it. At least show us highlights from the game, though!
i do kinda enjoy the story though
