Why do they even have the FFX guide if Matt ignores it? This is a stupid easy bossfight in the latest episode, and was when I was a child.
IIRC its one of if not the hardest boss in the game. Additionally they were clearly reading from the guide, don't be an ass for the sake of being an ass.
I super behind on podcasts but I'm listening to episode 130 where they talk about the Witness and Liam declaring it the best puzzle game in recent memory really bothers me because I think it's trash.
XCOM part 6 on Vessel. [sp]Pat literally fucked up and the entire Avatar Project bar is filled up. The only way he could have lowered the bar was the Blacksite mission. He then waited for at least 7 days until he got his supplies and bought four guys because he had all killed last mission. Now he's trying to rush the site and win. He failed. Game over everyone, game over.[/sp]
That's a little bit depressing. I can't wait!
I super behind on podcasts but I'm listening to episode 130 where they talk about the Witness and Liam declaring it the best puzzle game in recent memory really bothers me because I think it's trash.
Matt has the same opinion as yours.
Matt has the same opinion as yours.
Maybe I'm just stupid and don't get it, but looking at a collection of 500 of the same line puzzle and saying it is probably game of the year is just baffling to me. Then again I only played for a couple hours, maybe it gets good 200 puzzles in.

Don't want to spoil anything, but Liam can be right in his statement.

Don't want to spoil anything, but Liam can be right in his statement.
Sure and it did some cool stuff using the environment as the solution but if you don't like that specific kind of line puzzle (which I don't) then that game doesn't really have anything for you. It probably just wasn't made for me, I just expected more considering how often the word masterpiece is used when people talk about it.
game's not even bullshit, wicked winnable even on the difficulty they chose pat just is not the smartest when it comes to tactical planning. he throws guys in half cover so often, never uses height advantage (which can be the difference between a 60% shot and a 95% mind you), and in general just wastes his resources
to be fair, that situation of him being literally in the ayys face and having 45% was pretty bs unless there's something im missing
to be fair, that situation of him being literally in the ayys face and having 45% was pretty bs unless there's something im missing
Accuracy dropping at point blank range is something that's been in Enemy Unknown, if I recall correctly. Generally speaking, you want to be at least one square away from your enemy when targeting them.
to be fair, that situation of him being literally in the ayys face and having 45% was pretty bs unless there's something im missing
walking directly up to aliens is never gonna give you great numbers, its stupid but its been the case since forever (and pat has played enough of both games to get that)
They announced the next stream on the podcast, and its my favorite so far- [sp]Heavy Rain PS4, with Woolie having never played or seen much of it. Its going to be fantastic, especially with Liam who I don't think has played it either (either that or Beyond, I forget which)[/sp]
You don't know true pain until this has happened to you.
In games with RNG, it's best not to rely on the visuals to see how fair a shot was. It's less painful that way.
In games with RNG, it's best not to rely on the visuals to see how fair a shot was. It's less painful that way.
UFO Defense's RNG doesn't quite work that way. What happens when you "miss" a shot is that the trajectory of your shot is offset by some amount of degrees. All projectiles are objects in the world that have collisions, thus a "miss" shot is still perfectly capable of hitting its target and a "hit" shot is still perfectly capable of hitting the wrong target if there's something in the way. What happened in that image is, from what I can tell, the rocket would have hit but, because of a slight elevation difference between the shooter and the Sectoid, it passed harmlessly through the part of his sprite without a hitbox. Which is pretty bullshit.
eeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I love these playthroughs as they do burn the guys out eventually, then some dumb bullshit will happen and we're right back in Hype Central.
I can't wait for[sp]Detroit[/sp]to come out, knowing that they will play it.
Did they say what date the stream is?
No set date, they need to figure out when Liam is feeling better (and what times the SFV tournies are)
I can't wait for[sp]Detroit[/sp]to come out, knowing that they will play it.
It is because of them and other LPers that made me absolutely love [sp]Quantic Dream games.[/sp]

So, did Spike Lee just, I don't know, forget to make Vic likable?
So, did Spike Lee just, I don't know, forget to make Vic likable?
Spike lee forgot how to make a decent story.
Woolie saying "wow" right as [sp]Rage opens his mouth[/sp] for a split second just made the NBA 2k16 series worth it
So, did Spike Lee just, I don't know, forget to make Vic likable?
Well, no you grew up with him, you're both black. That should be enough right?
i cant believe how many dumb bullshit fetch quests there are
It's just like the anime: full of shitty filler.
i cant believe how many dumb bullshit fetch quests there are
For a second there I forgot it was a Ubisoft game, but now we remember.
I feel like rewatching an episode of the sadness trilogy. Which should I watch?
