so since this post I've put like... 10 hours into XCOM 2 and OH BOY THERE'S SOME BULLSHIT SOMETIMES. Getting critical'd from across the map, missing 98% chance shots and one of my soldiers just [i][b]disappearing[/b][/i] and popping back up 5 missions later in my infirmary gravely wounded somehow
but that's RNG based games for you, except that last bit... also my grenades have been 10x as effective somehow, probably cos the dude throwing them is in a fucking exoskeleton

IIRC Prometheus didn't do so well either.
I've been talking to more people about rpg lps and stuff, and i thought that a Knights of the Old Republic lp might work alright actually.
As far as they go, its linear enough to not get too lost in it, yet open enough to stay interesting, along with decent characters and a bunch of dumb bullshit. Pat has played the shit out of the series but i'm not sure about the others. Just something i thought would be cool.

I think a Sith Lords playthrough with Pat at the wheel would be pretty great. I think he knows the game well enough for it to be a smooth playthrough, and I really dig playthroughs of games that involve topics of themes they like to discuss.

Actually, have they ever done an lp as a sequel to an earlier lp? The sadness trilogy is one thing, and Resident evil is all over the place, but i mean straight up play Blank, then later they play Blank 2: the blankening. I can't think of any.
