Yeah, I wondered this too. It was super-obviously a fake laugh for that situation. I think most people get that, because it's often used sarcastically at "funny" things.

Reading up on the situation, this was one of the first big games with voiceacting- that scene was specifically shared around as "look how shitty this localization is, voiceacting is TERRIBLE," despite the context being that it [I]should[/I] be bad.
I expected Matt and Woolie to understand that, but looking back at that part of the LP it appears they missed the part where Yuna went "People look to us to be happy, so I've practiced smiling while I am sad" and took it as entirely genuine. Probably the reason why I posted the video in the first place.

Jsut to correct this, apparently episode 5 wasn't released, and was promised. It had nothing to do with episodes 1-4, but I guess episode 5 starts the newer story arc

To be fair, I have called Warframe "a podcast game" before either of them said it- it's amazing how thoughts can link up about things like that, even if Pat may phrase it similarly to the giantbombcast because he heard it recently.

Pat is very much different from the early days of the channel. He has acquired mannerisms from listening to Plague and other content creators too much. It's really strange. also

woolie is a sword with 50% accuracy because it cant differentiate between swinging left or right
