Pat is only good if he's not playing. When he plays, he constantly pops off about how great he is and how much he knows about the game yet constantly fails. I get that watching someone be bad at something is funny, but I don't think he's in on the joke.

It's not at all, it came around at a similar time but it's not like the movie at all, it's way more based on the comics. It barely shares anything in common with the movie. Different events, different villains and even a kinda different Frank Castle.
