I'm starting to wonder if they'll remember to not [sp]upgrade their biochop[/sp] [Sp]I really hope they don't[/sp]

Watching that Deus Ex playthrough makes me understand what hardcore Dark Souls fans were going through during their LP. They're not completely fucking it up but man, if they just paid a bit more attention to stuff
I knew Pat was going to be absolutely ass at DE:HR the second he said "who would ever use the stun gun lol".
Admittedly it's not a great weapon for a full LP when the LP itself isn't some self imposed challenge run, jut a casual "hey here's this game you dorks". Are there any games Pat isn't awful at? I can't say I've seen any yet, and we only really have his word to go on with the Souls series.
He was behind the wheel in Old Hunters.
Oh shit I forgot about that. Matt was too distracting.
Oh shit I forgot about that. Matt was too distracting.
Too distracting in a good way. Probably the LP he has added to the most.
Skill aside, the dynamic in Old Hunters was great.
I do hope they keep the trio up if they go through DS3, because the duo was okay after a while in DS2, then bad again, then a bit better during the DLC. The Old Hunters was just non-stop lafffo.

Pat did pretty good in Resident Evil 2, if I recall correctly. Generally speaking Liam is the best player since he actually can play a game well and talk at the same time.

Watched BvS today just because I wanna bask in how much they'll mock it on the next Friendcast -- should it actually be next week

Drops three guns Doesn't drop the ammo for them Complains about not having enough inventory space adfds;'fdv
Generally speaking Liam is the best player since he actually can play a game well and talk at the same time.
Everytime I hear this I point towards the Phantom Pain LP.
Everytime I hear this I point towards the Phantom Pain LP.
I can't tell your meaning, is this a contradiction or support of the previous statement?
Contradiction. That boss fight in DE:HR was a hilarious disaster. They even pick up the rocket launcher which I find as the most useless weapon in the game. It needs so much space, the ammo is very rare and because it's so powerful and most of the game takes place in tight corridors you can use it like twice without risking killing yourself in the process. They also keep talking how useful is the double takedown skill but you can do the same thing with stun gun and regular takedown.
They also keep talking how useful is the double takedown skill but you can do the same thing with stun gun and regular takedown.
Yeah, but the double takedown doesn't require inventory space, using ammo and is instant, as opposed to the slight delay between takedowns with the stun gun, its not long but anything could happen. [editline]3rd April 2016[/editline] And it doesn't look as cool as the double takedown, thats probably the most important thing actually.

They're so much more efficient, especially since only one energy bar can passively recharge.

I completely forgot to make my point. The fact that you can do the stun gun+takedown allows you to save those 2 points for later and use those on other stuff like inventory space, hacking, jumping...
2 in DC
Which, the bars that passively recharge or the cost of doing a double takedown?

Pat is not good at this game by any stretch of the imagination, let's not fool ourselves. The Stun Gun/Punch combo is extremely useful for later when you're constantly knocking people out in CQC. You'll find that the enemies will be in your face faster and more often than you can recharge energy. You'll want a close-range instant KO utility for those times. Unless Pat just wants to eat more bullets like he has about 10-11 times now, of course.
I'm so glad Matt grinded in FFX, because he's actively getting worse at the game. He seems to not understand how any equipment works, and he is insane for thinking attack order has to do with the order you switch characters in????
Well, you don't need the stun gun if you're going mostly lethal like they do but you have to get those headshots with the pistol. Also it's funny how EMP mines/grenades are way more useful against the robots and they take so little space.
