What is the context of the dead cops thing holy shit. And what is the inspiration Frank gets for the skull they're referring to?
Spoilers for Daredevil Season 2 This and later on that. Matt's probably referring to the second one.

I'm slightly salted they didn't just run through the entirety of heavy rain in one stream. Now I have to wait and buy more drinks for the next stream. Hopefully i'll catch it live.
I seriously hope they hand the controller to someone competent for their DS3 playthrough. I like Pat and Woolie, but they payed no attention to the previous games.
I seriously hope they hand the controller to someone competent for their DS3 playthrough. I like Mat and Woolie, but they payed no attention to the previous games.
It's Pat on controls this time with Woolie and Matt watching, just like The Old Hunters.

Looks like we've got nearly 2 hours of Final Fantasy X so far today. I wonder if rushing the episodes out this quickly was intentional.

Can't say I'm complaining.
im pretty sure at the length the videos are coming out the next or maybe the part after that will be the final one
Almost certainty two episodes from now- Next episode is already up on vessel, and tomorrow's set of vessel videos would release on saturday, the day before DS3.
Two of those three new Mystery Boxes are fucking bonkers lol. I really hope in the DS3 playthrough they don't stick with some utterly boring weapon and ugly armor for the entire playthrough. Bloodborne was real bad about that.

Though I wouldn't blame him really, since that's what I did. :v:
pat loves his greatswords. expect greatswords
This only leads to more questions than answers.
it's just a weird bootleg t-shirt someone found a couple years back, then someone traced it and it's online now... Pretty sure I have one of the shirts in my house somewhere but cbf looking

Well armour doesn't really mean much in 3, so hopefully they just fashion it up like everyone else right now. I love my old hunter.
i hope pat's already beaten the game and the others go in blind, there's a ton of super obtuse side quests that you literally cannot figure out on your first playthrough
i hope pat's already beaten the game and the others go in blind, there's a ton of super obtuse side quests that you literally cannot figure out on your first playthrough
I'm pretty sure that Pat said that the results of poll said for him to go in blind, and that he's leaving the Steam overlay on so that people can see that he beat the bosses for the first time. I'm not sure about the others, though. I wouldn't be surprised if Matt's going in blind too, but I haven't heard anything about whether or not Woolie's played it already.
i hope pat's already beaten the game and the others go in blind, there's a ton of super obtuse side quests that you literally cannot figure out on your first playthrough
Everyone is going in blind- Pat tried to weasel out of doing so by having a twitter poll, but everyone there agreed that he shouldn't know anything about the game either. Besides, I don't think they'll mind missing a few cool quests as long as the main experience is fun.

Like, i'm rocking the fallen knight set right now because of my huge cloaks over armor fetish.
I'm always struggling to balance fashion souls and armor value. Like, i'm rocking the fallen knight set right now because of my huge cloaks over armor fetish.
Im still rocking the FK set at SL 70 i've not really had any problems.

Regardless I can't want to see them play, let's hope they do the DLC too when it comes out I'm a sucker for Best Friends souls games :v:
I'm working through the Heavy Rain stream and holy shit that part where [sp]Woolie just shoots Nathaniel in the face.[/sp] I never thought we'd get another [Glass Him] moment. [sp]#WoolieLivesMatter[/sp]
I'm working through the Heavy Rain stream and holy shit that part where [sp]Woolie just shoots Nathaniel in the face.[/sp] I never thought we'd get another [Glass Him] moment. [sp]#WoolieLivesMatter[/sp]
[sp]The best part is that it wasn't the second prompt that gets most people, where he goes to pull something else out, and after you shoot him it turns out it's just a cross. Doesn't matter either way, though, since it never factors into the story.[/sp]
Their Dark Souls 2 playthrough is what got me into both the Souls series and the Best Friends, so I am just super excited to watch them play DS3, I can hardly wait.
At least this time it will be completely forgivable if Pat gets everything wrong since he can't pretend like he knows everything going in :v:
he didn't for bloodborne either (except that one pat the cheater incident) but that didn't stop him
Yeah but I won't get mad at him for acting like he knows everything. That's why I couldn't stand DS2; he gave Woolie mountains of misinformation all the time while claiming to be good at the game. He can't do that with a brand new title.
I'm glad that pats on controls, considering he's far less likely to panic and swing at any npc that walks past. The part in the undead settlement when [sp]Siegward steps off of the elevator surprised me,[/sp] and judging from the past Woolie may take a swing at moments like that. I thought this when they announced the setup for the lp, and the "incident" in the Heavy Rain stream reminded me.
